The ref felt sad sending off Camavinga because he is a Madrid fan. If he didn’t make that mistake; camavinga would have gotten away with it.

First; Camavinga was playing with the ball on his feet after the foul play before even picking up the ball and holding on to it to delay the restart.

@playwithtomide At first when i was watching it, it looked like he forgot, me too i was thinking the ref actually forgot, until watched and saw the ref raised 2 fingers up (after the yellow card ) signalling to camavinga that its two yellow cards now. I think that whats happend sha,watch closely

Offenses like that are rare but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened before. Regardless of that;the ref was bad the whole game so the fault is on UEFA

@King_adba @FansTribeHQ Exactly. What other players do in such situations is that they hold the ball; retreat to their position and then throw the ball to the opposition; Camavinga was clearly not in the rhythm of the game and he made a careless mistake. So it’s 70% Camavinga fault, 30% the ref.

@King_adba @FansTribeHQ He was sent off against Arsenal last season for similar reason. Real Madrid fans didn’t bother then because the game was already lost 3-0. Even the ref was extremely lenient to R.madrid players until Camavinga decided to try his luck. It’s not 100% on the ref.

@moneyovergossip @the_smallie It’s not the same. Different scenario. He deliberately kicked the ball away. Cama was in possession. Picked up the ball when the player complained he simply left the ball. Not more than 3 seconds.

Now that the whole banter noise has settled, let’s say the truth. The referee ruined the game with that Camavinga red card. That was way too harsh.

So maybe if the ref wasn’t distracted, he would have let it go but Camavinga provoked the reaction which was complete unnecessary
