Yes unfortunately it is true. I had another mom in the school double check. We are both advocates and familiar with the school library catalog. You may search the online library catalog to triple check. We searched keywords "The Holy Bible", "Bible", and " Holy Bible". This search does find the physical Bible in two of the five 6A high schools in RRISD but not in Cedar Ridge nor Round Rock High School libraries. UPDATE: The Good and the Bad Good news first: After my post yesterday morning, a Catholic Study Bible has been found in the Round Rock High School’s library. Progress is possible when the public shines a light. Bad news: Canyon Vista Middle School in @RoundRockISD has been discovered to have the Quran available — but no Holy Bible. Cedar Ridge High School also still carries the Quran while remaining without a Holy Bible. The goal of these posts is simple: to make parents and communities aware of what’s happening inside our public schools and to encourage everyone to stay diligent. School libraries can update their catalogs at any time to include the Holy Bible. Every public school in Texas should have a copy of the best-selling book of all time: the Holy Bible.
