I think we all know the answer…Paxton and Roy have personal issues with each other. That doesn’t impact me. I don’t blindly follow anyone… I think Paxton is the guy to vote for in the Senate race and Chip Roy for AG. I look at what is best for Texas and the rest of the country. It’s those two guys. Maybe we have to agree to disagree, Christie. No hard feelings about that at all.

Sorry, but @chiproytx served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Texas (2009–2011), where he prosecuted violent criminals and drug traffickers in federal court. The AG may have 700 lawyers, but they decide which cases to file, which battles to pick, and which to appeal all the way to SCOTUS. Those are legal judgment calls…and you want someone who’s actually been in a courtroom making them. Courtroom experience doesn’t just teach you the law. It teaches you how to read a judge, assess risk, and know when you’re holding a winning hand. That’s the judgment that runs an AG’s office. This is why @chiproytx is the only option for this seat and it impacts the entire country.

@BreitbartNews Nonsense. In Texas, we have 7 acceptable forms of voter ID. If people want to vote, they shouldn’t wait until the last minute to register. If you live here, register to vote now. Don’t wait until November. If you move, update your address. This is not hard.

@AmyKremer The Texas AG office reputation nationally will be safe in @chiproytx hands but questionable in MIDDLETON . I question if this positioning is about a future governors race more than passion for law. Mayes has never tried a case in a Texas Court !

With all due respect, @AmyMek, the TX AG does not litigate. He has 700 lawyers who do that. The AG is the glue that holds the office together. He leads the charge. Have you met Mayes Middleton? Do you really know what he’s about? He is principled, confident yet humble, and tenacious. He is not loud and bombastic, but he is effective. His endorsements are not US govt officials with massive name ID, they are the heart of Texas, the grassroots, the State Republican Executive Committee Members, faith leaders, Moms who have worked with Middleton and his staff for years to see through legislation that has put Texas ahead of other states that could only dream of having the laws we have here. On this Memorial Day, my heart feels heavy as I remember my brothers and sisters I served with who never made it home. We honor their ultimate sacrifice by standing up for the principles that unite us as Americans, defending our God-given freedoms, treating one another with aloha—respecting each other as children of God—and always striving for peace. Talarico was my state rep. Do not be deceived by his boyish looks and calculated speech. In the Texas House, he voted in favor of men using girls’ bathrooms and boys playing in girls sports. He voted for gender mutilation of children and voted against school choice. 🚫 Hard pass in November.

This truly is insane. It is against the law in Texas. I signed a law banning boys in girls sports. Female athletes in Texas will never have to share the trophy podium with a male. They worked hard to succeed in their sport. That must never be eroded by woke ideology.

📣📣📣PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! HISD continues to contract with Hazel Healthcare…a telehealth company that provides MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH SERVICES “free of charge” ON CAMPUS (or at home) to CHILDREN…and often those appointments are WITHOUT PARENTS. This is part of the “Whole Child Education” model (aka WSCC) that is heavily promoted, pushed, and funded in K-12 education right now. Parents do have to “consent” to have their child cared for by Hazel Healthcare physicians and counselors at school in HISD, but do they understand that by doing so, they are no longer covered by HIPPA privacy laws, and instead are covered under FERPA? And do they understand that under FERPA, a school administrator now has access to medical records, including medications and diagnosis? And do parents really have the full picture of the decisions being made by a medical or mental health provider when the parent is not a part of the conversation/appointment with the child and provider? While this might seem like a nice and convenient service for a school district to provide, it is HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC from a parental rights standpoint. We should instead acknowledge that parents are the DRIVER of their children’s healthcare…not some supportive sideline role! PARENTS! Do NOT give up your parental authority for the sake of convenience or the misleading claim that a health service is “free”. A health service may not require a monetary payment from you, but you will PAY DEARLY for giving up your parental authority! Look at the slick marketing being provided by Hazel, and ask yourself if this is in the best interest of CHILDREN/their parents OR the schools! WHO becomes the driver of children’s health the more this becomes normalized? WHO stands to gain power in this situation and who stands to lose? Also note that therapy at the high school level (and probably sooner) is marketed as a way to explore “identity”. Do you want your child exploring identity with a random stranger therapist the school is offering who may not share your values or world view?! HIGHLY problematic. @TXlege why are our tax dollars being used for programs like this?
