I'm sorry, what is even happening right now. Have we really lost the ability to recognize obvious hyperbole... guys please, not everything is meant literally. 😭 Watching people speedrun bad-faith takes every time is frying what's left of my brain cells.

it is quite clearly a joke towards the gracious mistake person defending this artist for ‘having a queue’ when that’s clearly not the part of the situation anyone took issue with. the issue was the fact they didn’t respond for weeks but managed to reply in less than ten minutes after a paypal case was filed. 4 months is long enough to figure out time to draw a chibi. if your ‘queue’ prevents you from doing so then you’re taking on more than you can handle and maybe shouldn’t be doing art commissions. that’s the point. i in no way think the artist should die for not completing it in time, it’s a joke about being put out of your misery as an artist taking people’s money if you can’t do the bare minimum of professionalism: replying to your client. twitter not taking everything literally challenge impossible. any artists who want to blacklist me over this aren’t professionals i’d want to work with anyway.

@TotallyNotAliVT since you blocked me before i could reply: i get your point i just disagree with it. taken not literally, the message is that artists who can’t meet the deadlines they themselves set (and consider clients upset with that, and i quote, ‘karens’) shouldn’t be doing art commissions. if people want to continue thinking it’s a joke about actually shooting people so they can be outraged that’s their right, and it’s also my right to not want to interact with people like that.

i’m not currently doing collabs for a couple reasons but something i’ve thought for awhile: honestly i’d respect it more if people just approached directly about a collab instead of pretending to want to be friends. it’s pretty obvious when it happens, to me at least.
