@Skoll_Shorties Chris Metzen went out on stage and presented the elven reunification as one of the main theme of Midnight. It ended up just being a few quest, one of which is litterally gathering a bunch of rocks...

Generally think that the "Elven Unity" part of Midnight feels a tad bit rushed in & should've been apart of the leveling. But also, I think the story would've been more powerful if this was more about the Blood Elves & the Horde uniting to face the void together. But that's me.

@TalkativeTri @JoshStrifeHayes Yeah, there's a lot of elitism and gatekeeping in some community (cough poe cough). I get it that some people are really invested but my god, some of them really need to realise that there's more important thing in life than criticizing people online for how they play a game...

@JoshStrifeHayes These sort of people also get much angrier if you have any form of success as a casual. It infuriates them beyond belief and brings out a special kind of anger.

What level of terminally online, socially inept, digital validation have we reached when calling someone a casual, normal persom, is seen as bad?

@Queen_Ishura I would not be suprised that she's not telling the full story. The fact that a child in ceremonial garments is the last one standing seems pretty suspicious to me...

think I remember hearing in an interview that xal’atath’s beautiful appearance is an intentional tool she wields on her part and that makes the fact she first faced down the void as a kid (if that’s actually what was being shown) so much sadder :(

@Queen_Ishura I may have missed it but, is it ever told why some of the kareshi (brokers) chose to go to the shadowlands?Especially when they need specials suits to maintain their forms?

Also considering [spoiler] swore an oath to restore K'aresh and is in charge here, it makes sense that *most* of the associated forces would be Brokers rather than Ethereals.

bc I'm reading this like.... all the ethereals abandoned K'aresh long ago. They could've returned, but they never did, they basically gave up on it. (Or we killed them off, since a lot of the ethereal factions that pop up in WoW are antagonistic).
