✨I’m officially rebranding to FABLEBEAST Fursuits!✨ • I was originally known as FireDog Fursuits but I’ve been wanting to do this for months and I’ve finally decided to go for it! I came up with the original name of FireDog Fursuits a few years ago when I wasn’t in a good point in my life (had a lot of major life stuff happening and was not great mentally) which has over time given me a bad connection to that business name and I’ve sort of secretly hated it for like 2 years straight now, I even got embarrassed to say it when people asked what my business was called lol 😅 I also didn’t really have a fursona back then either so the logo was just a generic wolf/dog character with firedog underneath it but now I have my fursona Mantra and a whole personal suit of her and everything so I wanted her to be the main mascot for my fursuit making business and have her front and centre on everything!! 🥳 This feels like a massive weight off my chest and I’m so exited to finally have whole new fresh look with my new branding, website, and social media and I can’t wait to make loads of stickers, business cards, maybe even Merch?! 👀 💖 • Let me know what you guys think! I’m so done with this printer, I’ve replaced the emmc module and the Y accelerator cable like Elegoo told me to and it’s still doing the exact same thing as before I think it’s just unfixable at this point 😭 if anyone has any recommendations for a new one then please let me know! I’m looking for a smaller build plate this time

@EquinoxKitty LITERALLY!!! Like why tf do I have to manually do it this super complicated way when we have the technology to do it through like WiFi or something automated like aarghhh

@fablebeastsuits The process for updating the firmware is so archaic and infuriating!!!!! Like WHYYY did they design it that way?? And it never works either 😭

@EquinoxKitty Yeah I’m thinking about moving away from Elegoo entirely and going with somthing else, I just hate how difficult it is for their printers to do even the most basic stuff, and also the way you have to update the firmware is such a pain 😭

@fablebeastsuits If you’re looking for a very hands off printer, I adore my bambu H2S. The qidi plus 4 is a more affordable option but I did have to print a fan shroud (on printables) and replace the stock hotend before I could print TPU. (Easy to do but ya know)

@EquinoxKitty Yeah I’ve had nothing but problems with this printer over the years, the build plate size is really nice but that’s about it, it’s just been a pain in my ass pretty much the whole time 😅

@fablebeastsuits I hated my Neptune 4 so much. It broke so badly that not even reflashing the motherboard fixed it to me. After like 3 months of owning it all I could do was strip it for its motors. My Neptune 3s are angels by comparison…

Looking for recommendations for a first maker to make my V2 suit, preferably one who does really good lions and big cats.

I’ve been making on and off since 2014 but only just started taking comms seriously in the last 2-3 years and I’ve counted 45 heads so far! I thought it would be more but I did take quite a large break from making them in that timeline somewhere but I’m still amazed at how fast some makers are at making them! 😳

I’m curious, fursuit makers, how many heads have you made in total as of right now, and when did you start making? 👀 I’ll start, I just completed my 51st, working on my 52nd right now! Been making since 2020 🎉

Holy shit this is insane! With 7 days to go as well! I don’t think I’d ever recover if someone valued my work at this insane level, I would be screaming crying throwing up from unimaginable gratitude 😭 Zuri is so so lucky, it’s so inspiring to see as a fellow fursuit maker!
