This beautiful island we all share 💚 I firmly believe that we have more in common than that that divides us here. People are desperate for politics that makes a real difference to their lives. Not the same tired nonsense. Spending the morning at the Royal Victoria Hospital talking about health really puts things into perspective against the endless noise in Northern Ireland. Public services matter, people want to get on in life- can we concentrate on that?

Why is this issue of fair play in public life & politics so important to me? I've seen people I've grown up with get tossed on the garbage heap of life, disregarded by a system that didn't care. I've heard career politicians make a living off the back of them. I've seen people get rich off the back of ordinary, decent workers while they still can't pay their rent.
