Vance is completely prepared to defend Trump intentionally slaughtering civilians at the same time that he’s promoting his new book on his conversion to Catholicism that has a random Methodist church on the cover. The right thing to do would be to resign. But Vance cares more about power than anything else, including actually adhering to the faith he claims to hold. Trump could drop a nuke on Iran and Vance would defend it with a smirk, and the First Things and right-wing Christian crowd would eat it up.

Conservatives need to go to college. We need conservative doctors. We need conservative lawyers. We need conservative chemists. Above all, we NEED conservatives in the classrooms reminding their peers that not everyone thinks the same. Takes one mind to change thousands.
