Please re read my tweet Mehdi. My argument is that Polanski has allowed the Green Party to be usurped by radical Islamists. He has done so for cynical and self serving reasons (I’m sure he doesn’t personally think ‘jews are an abomination’ or that homosexuality should be punished by death, or that women should be punished for dancing). But the result of his calculation is, among other things, scenes of Green Party members aligning themselves with one of the worst regimes on earth, of Deputy leader Mothin Ali being pictured surrounded by Iranian Flags, & voluminous examples of ‘Greens’ using language about Jews (not Israelis) that would have been familiar in 1930s Germany but taboo only a few years ago in the UK. You will have seen the above and more besides, but are of course free to pretend otherwise
