Hard to believe this is true but it is. Alana Odysseos was 3 months pregnant when Shanie March stabbed her 23 times at her home in July 2024. She stumbled out onto the street and told passersby that he was the one who did it. He calmly walked away and left her dying in the street. The sad thing is that Shaine March should never have been free at that time. He was given a life sentence for the 2000 killing of Andre Drummond at a McDonald’s in Denmark Hill. Yet the prison authorities decided to release him, just 13 years into his sentence. He was found guilty of the murder of Alana and her unborn child and given another life sentence, with a minimum term of 42 years. Conservatives pushed for this to be changed to a whole life order which has just been granted. He should never see freedom again. Too late for Alana.

Hate speech should be legal because it is subjective and only causes people to be offended. If you threaten with offenses in the criminal code, then it is objective and limits the freedom of the person being threatened. Therefore, it is good that threats are not legal.

@SPBASS1 @MKjrstad The US does not have hate speech laws. Defamation is civil, not criminal and has nothing to do with what you would call hate speech. Incitement is direct calls for violence.
