It’s hard for me to see people calling Tim Keller’s commitment to Jesus & his Kingdom ethics ‘3rd wayism’ as though Jesus was placating to some form of worldly compromise. Tim was showing how the politics of any party do not fully align w the Character & Convictions of Jesus.

@JWinters489 The Grizzlies bought out the loudest voices and put them on the payroll with Grind City Media. You used to be able to turn on the radio and hear Vernon and Parish go on some heaters. The org has silenced dissenting voices to protect their brand.

This is why I keep pushing for more diversity in local sports media. They’ll never challenge the front office or ownership, everything gets pinned on Ja Morant. Outside of the suspension, injuries aren’t on him. Jaren or bane didn’t live up to expectations.

Another thought: The Grizzlies traded two players (Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson) who lived up to every expectation because a third player (Ja Morant) came up short. Morant's failures -- physical and otherwise -- are the primary reason the franchise has to start again.
