I'm a Fullstack dev who spent months building proposal software for freelancers.
Not because I had investors or a co-founder.
Because I watched too many talented people lose clients to bad tooling.
Today @QuoteOnGoApp is live. Free for the first 150 users.

@LoopandPixels Building a proposal tool for freelancers right now.
Helps create clean proposals with scope, revisions, and payment terms — trying to make client work less messy.
Would love to connect with more builders here 🤝

@light_mart47411 Hi Light,
I built a simple tool to create clean, structured proposals with scope, revisions, and payment terms.
Also includes sharing + status tracking and timeline
Happy to share if you’re exploring this.
English

@hiyandel Most people skip structure.
Clear scope + revision limits + payment terms = everything.
Makes proposals close faster.
I have build something recently @QuoteOnGoApp
English

@sdhilip This is so accurate.
That “one-page proposal that closes in 24 hours” part is underrated.
Most freelancers overcomplicate proposals or skip structure completely.
Been building a simple tool to help with exactly this
clean proposals with built-in scope + terms.
English

Skills that separate a $50/hr freelancer from a $150/hr consultant:
- Scoping projects before touching a keyboard
- Saying "that's out of scope" without burning the
relationship
- Translating business problems into technical solutions
- Writing a one-page proposal that closes in 24 hours
- Knowing which tools to use (not just which tools exist)
- Delivering async across 5 timezones
- Building repeatable systems, not one-off fixes
- Asking better questions than the client expected
- Packaging expertise into products, not just services
The jump isn't technical skill. It's everything around it.
What would you add?
English

@Hamish_AI This is exactly why I started building a proposal tool, most freelancers don’t define revisions properly.

Saw a post on r/Entrepreneur where a dev agency owner said the coding was never the problem after 14 years, and honestly every freelancer I've talked to says the same thing about their own craft regardless of what they actually do.
The problems are always the same: getting paid on time, scoping work so the client doesn't assume unlimited revisions are included, and learning to walk away from a project that feels wrong before you're three weeks deep and already resenting it.
