Yes there are intermarriages between Hausa and Fulani, even between Hausa & Kanuri. But the groundnum is and which is even islamically acceptable if your Father is Hausa and your mom is Fulani then you are a Hausa person, similarly if your Father is Fulani and your mom is Hausa then you are a Fulani person. Stop twisting what is the standard and groundnum, there’s no tribe in the world called Hausa-Fulani, it’s just a political phrase coined by our founding fathers.
