@levelsio Dude, it’s literally crazy writing this up. I had the same thoughts several months ago. And I believe you absolutely right.

Maybe obvious thought but last night I realized: The internet was just a way to move all human knowledge into a structured format easily accessible by computers so that AI could then arise and train on all of that Before the internet that knowledge was too dispersed, in books, television, people's stories etc. Internet was just a bootloader for AGI

I find something about this so deeply upsetting and grim. Editing your personal photos to make people look happier, more photogenic. The ability to edit your own memories essentially. Awful stuff.

33 🎂 Have been really tough on myself lately. I should be building faster, contributing more, be further ahead. The rat race is endless. My sister sent me the zillow of the house we spent most of our early lives in. Seven people sharing 1,200sf in a terrible neighborhood. Weekly shootings, pregnant teens, no one made it to high school. Including most of my siblings. It is a miracle Im even here. Building this currently very tiny venture firm. Working with the smartest people dedicated to changing the world. What a gift. I am extremely grateful for the many people that have moved mountains to move me forward. And for this platform to share this journey. Thank you. Logging off to go read fiction on a park bench with my dog ❤️
