Minnesota 6’7 Wing Cade Tyson has been one of the most impressive players in college basketball so far this season. Through his first five games Tyson is averaging 23/4/1 while shooting 53% from the field and 39% from three on 6 attempts a game. Tyson has been one of the most polished and consistent scorers this season with his ability to effectively score with and without the ball. He’s a high level catch and shoot shooter and cutter who has great instincts on where to be and he’s doing it with elite efficiency. He’s currently shooting 72% at the rim and 39% from three. Tyson has been one of the biggest breakout players so far this season and his mix of shooting, finishing, and off ball instincts at his height makes him an extremely valuable player.
