been building something for the past week on top of Grok and i need to talk about it
so Veo 3 charges $0.40 per second. thats $2.00 for 5 seconds of video. no consistent actors. no references. just raw text to video. Kling 3 is cheaper but same deal, no actor control at all

let me say that again. for $1.26 you get a consistent actor, dressed exactly how you want using references, speaking with a custom voice and real lipsync. Veo 3 cant even do consistent actors at $2.00 for the same 5 seconds
Grok video is so underpriced its not even funny. @xai basically gave us a video model that does 720p, 1 to 15 seconds, any aspect ratio, and it costs almost nothing compared to everything else out there
Nobody is talking about how cheap Grok video actually is
