I watched Sinners. It was a run of the mill vampire movie. Why was it up for awards? These awards shows are just liberals smelling their own farts now.

The FA has set a target for 25% of England men’s team coaches to come from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds by 2028. For the Lionesses’ coaching staff, the aim is 50% representation. The organisation has also stated that it wants women to make up 50% of its overall workforce by 2028.

By 2027, scientists estimate you'll never be more than six feet away from someone who played for Forest Green Rovers during the 2025/26 season. #RAFC
Macclesfield FC (C)@thesilkmen

Macclesfield FC can confirm that the Club have received a formal offer from Forest Green Rovers which meets the release clause in D’Mani Mellor’s contract. D’Mani has been an outstanding asset to Macclesfield Football Club both on and off the pitch. Since arriving, he has consistently demonstrated the professionalism, work ethic and character that we expect from players representing this Club. His contribution in terms of goals and creativity on the pitch and character in the dressing room has been significant. He has also built a strong connections with our supporters and the wider Macclesfield community, for which we are incredibly grateful. While no deal has yet been finalised, the activation of the release clause means discussions are now taking place between D’Mani and Forest Green regarding the next steps. Should the transfer go ahead, D’Mani will leave with our sincere thanks and best wishes. From a football perspective, we are always planning for all scenarios. Our recruitment team have been working tirelessly to identify players capable of strengthening the squad. Our priority is to ensure that John Rooney and his coaching staff have all the resources required to maintain our momentum and continue pushing strongly for the play-off positions this season. We have always been a Club that develops players and provides a platform for them to progress in the game and that is something we will never stand in the way of. Further updates will be provided to supporters in due course. Jonathan Bull Sporting Director Macclesfield FC

HMS DRAGON STILL NOT READY The Royal Navy’s Type 45 destroyer HMS Dragon will not be ready for operations for at least another week, according to the latest reports. Britain once ruled the waves. Now even getting a destroyer back to sea is a struggle. Shambolic.

It’s mad how the EFL can sort a vote to increase the promotion opportunities for Championship clubs to the PL - yet still nothing on a second automatic place from the National League to L2. No club promoted from the NL to L2 has ever come straight back down…
The Athletic | Football@TheAthleticFC

There will be more routes to reach the Premier League from next season after an English Football League (EFL) vote was passed to expand the Championship play-offs from four teams to six. The team finishing eighth in the Championship will get the chance to win promotion to the top flight under the expanded play-off structure from 2026-27. Thinking about the game again, apart from wrong tactics and bad recruitment, I think Leon is a huge miss. Also, I think Ralph's contribution and influence as captain is always underestimated and he's also a big miss. @CJPhillips1982 @SUFCRootsHall

I am blown away that this is the size of the UK's navy in 2026. Shocked. I had no clue it had been reduced to this tiny flotilla. 😭
