This is one of the most classless, disrespectful, and vile posts using America’s fallen warriors as props to try to score cheap political points against President Trump. Their sacrifice should NEVER be exploited, especially on Memorial Day.

Fusion Ken Dilanian ridiculously claims here that weaponization “a lie” “which never happened.” But it’s Dilanian who’s the liar. Tell Carter Page that a faked FISA warrant put together by Kevin Clinesmith was a lie that never happened. Tell this to the J6ers sent to federal prison based on a completely erroneous interpretation of 18 USC 1512(c)(2). And on and on. Of course, weaponization happened. And you are just an agent of those who want to deny it, Ken. *** Readers, if have the stomach for a lot of garbage, find this podcast where you can hear the “best” garbage spewers JournoLawfare™️ has to offer: Litman, Kirschner, Dilanian, and Rocha. What a lineup.

It was an honor to visit your husband’s grave today on your behalf, and to pay my respects. It was wonderful to see the beautiful flowers representing many others who did the same. Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the loved ones they left behind. Thank you for your service and sacrifice @SharrellAnne2 🙏🏽

You can elect a qualified attorney general for the state of Texas Or you can elect Mayes Middleton Don’t elect Mayes Middleton Middleton is no more qualified to appear in court than he is to perform open-heart surgery If you live in Texas, vote for Chip Roy tomorrow
Chip Roy@chiproytx

TX AG is not an entry-level position. It is the most important legal job in America outside the US AG. You must be ready to lead ~4000 employees, manage litigation, and defend TX in state and federal court. My opponent has no documented courtroom experience.

I think that’s correct historically, but I think what sets this apart from prior tech advancements is that the advancement, in theory, isn’t just a tool for laborer efficiency, but that it’s the labor itself. I think what is overblown is the timeline at which this can be scaled to specific use cases, and adapted to the needs of millions of different businesses and corporations. I do have concerns over a longer timeline, say 20 - 30 years, that this technology will be more capable of quickly adapting to replace labor while optimizing itself continuously.

I fed Pope Leo's MAGNIFICA HUMANITAS and my piece on Ai to Claude and asked it to summarize where we agree/disagree. I present it to you: Where you and Leo XIV agree Both reject the neutrality of technology — Leo writes that technology "takes on the characteristics of those who devise, finance, regulate and use it"; you argue every alignment encodes a vision. Both name concentration of power in a handful of private, transnational firms as the central political problem of AI, and both reject pure market governance. Both refuse the symmetric heresies of techno-utopianism (Leo on transhumanism/posthumanism, you on the singularity as "secular eschatology") and despair. Both insist human dignity cannot be reduced to productivity, worry about the capital–labor gap and the deformation of education, and ground the analysis in a Christian anthropology of the person as image of God. Both want human judgment retained for lethal decisions. Where you disagree The deepest split is universalism versus particularism. Leo writes as pastor of "all men and women of good will" and treats the global common good, fraternal solidarity, and multilateralism as load-bearing. Your framework is explicitly the American republic — "the state's first duty is to its own people." Migration. Leo calls the treatment of migrants a litmus test of social justice, demanding safe and legal routes, dignified reception, and pathways to integration alongside addressing root causes. You argue AI's productivity gains dissolve the labor-scarcity case for immigration and that surplus should flow to existing citizens, on the logic of political obligation in a republic. Geopolitical posture. You treat US–China competition as a near-absolute imperative — restraint is "abdication" that hands the field to a regime hostile to theism, freedom, and the rule of law. Leo warns against "supposed political realism," the normalization of war, and the arms-race logic itself, ranking these among the primary dangers of the moment. Alignment and the magistrate. You both agree neutrality is impossible. You propose alignment overseen by the magistrate and trained on the canonical texts of the American tradition — explicitly Protestant in lineage — as the only honest answer to which-vision-and-who-decides. Leo holds that the Church "does not claim to possess a monopoly on truth," that truth "is not imposed from above," and that ecclesial and political communities must remain distinct. Underneath these: Leo extends the universal destination of goods to data, algorithms, patents, and digital infrastructure, implying international redistributive obligations you explicitly resist as drift toward state expansion. Both invoke Christian anthropology; you reach a Protestant-republican conclusion, he a Catholic-globalist one.

In light of the Popes very lengthy (and at times rather leftist) treatise on AI and humanism, Colins brilliant and concise article makes a far stronger case (at least to American readers) on the need for AI integration that is governed by Christian ethics and first principles.

Not all cultures are equal. This harsh reality must be taught in the west, to preserve our civilization.

Rape victims are often accused of adultery under Sharia law if they report being raped by married Muslim men. Here is a shocking example: A 13-year-old girl in Somalia was raped by a married Muslim man. Instead of punishing the rapist, an Islamic Sharia court sentenced the little girl to death. The Muslim rapist accused her of “seducing” him by appearing in public, and the court agreed — convicting her of adultery. Hundreds of Muslim men gathered to stone her to death as an offering to Allah. They laughed, cheered and shouted “Allahu Akbar” as she screamed in agony until her last breath. Not one man stepped forward to save the 13-year-old rape victim. Everyone in the village heard her cries for help before the execution. Instead of intervening, they tied her hands behind her back and chained her feet. The local imam directed the men to dig a hole and bury her up to her waist so she could not move or dodge the stones aimed at her head. For hours before and during the stoning she begged for mercy, looking toward her neighbors, her father, and every Muslim man taking part. Until her final breath she cried out, but no one rescued her. Of the hundreds of men present, none showed compassion. The participants gladly joined this Islamic act of worship, ignoring her pleas and rejoicing with “Allahu Akbar” while brutally killing her. This is not an isolated barbaric act. This is Sharia law in practice — where the victim is punished and the rapist protected if he is married. Not all cultures are equal. Some protect the innocent. Islam punishes the raped girl and calls it justice. The West keeps importing this ideology while pretending it is compatible with our values. It is not. Share this. The world must see the true face of Sharia and stop the denial.
