I don't understand the revisionist criticism here. We spent 29.6m compared to Cov's 13.6m (transfermarkt) this season. We spent big last summer, hence why funds were limited in Jan. I think it's a bit lazy to imply that Gibson simply didn't want to put his hand in his pocket.
