@john_jastremski Explain to me why Pitino went away from the hot hand of Prey that second half? The team wasn’t getting any defensive stops anyway and couldn’t score against the 2-3 zone during the crucial stretch of the game - they needed his shooting.

@jtimsuggs I LOVED those books as a kid. I can still remember them so vividly - especially Lightsabers. Being a young reader with those characters as they came out made it that much more impactful when they took leading roles in the mainline novels

@jowrotethis This is the best thing Marvel has made in a loooong time (at least it feels that way). They had an ambitious take and vision backed up by the cast and technicals capable of backing it up. Without feeling noted to death. Im ready to rewatch it already

WONDER MAN is excellent. EXCELLENT. My favorite Marvel since…well I loved AGATHA but I get that this has broader appeal.

@JeffDLowe I agree. This slot was for the hit blockbuster movie. Not only was it original (as far as sports movie plots can be original) but it was legitimately better than Avatar 3 and Wicked: For Good IMO.
Hypothetical: If Superman made $1B would it have been a contender for this slot?

I think F1 getting #Oscars Best Picture nomination is a big deal.
Apple had it in theaters for a very long theatrical run. They then released physical copy of the movie before putting it on Apple TV+.
Slotted in as original idea nomination over sequels in AVATAR 3 & WICKED 2.

The Mangkwan paint and what it represents is one of my favorite details in A3 and I'm obsessed with the way it is adopted by Neytiri and even Quaritch during the film to represent what they are feeling during those specific points in their arcs. Grief, anger, hatred, loss.
