NEW: Woman who attacked a Chicago police officer, stole his squad car and ran him over, acquitted of all charges. Insane. Cook County Judge Tyria Walton found Whitley Temple not guilty of attempted murder. Temple can now walk free after the judge said she was not guilty by reason of insanity. She was also found not guilty of two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, vehicular hijacking, and possession of a stolen vehicle. After Temple stole the car, she sped off, reaching speeds of 90mph before running into 4 cars. The police officer suffered a concussion and needed multiple stitches. Temple will only have to show up to court for a meeting with mental health officials for a treatment plan.

Lakeland FL police were called to an apartment complex about non residents using the pool. *reportedly* (news story below) this 16 year old refused to identify himself or provide proof he lived there and was asked to leave. He refused then this happened. Sides: "We're spending too much time talking to the officials. We shouldn't get technicals...let ME get the technicals, let ME go after the officials." You DON'T, that's the problem. Maybe if you stood up for your players, the players wouldn't have to do it themselves.

@DagsBasketball Was just doing this exact thing with 2nd graders on 9’ goal at camp yesterday. While form shooting 90% of misses were short. Stopped them and talked about it. Several immediately made shots.😊

Players missing short in workouts?⬇️ Lately, instead of correcting mechanics from my point of view, I’ve moved players that continuously miss short, a couple feet beyond NBA 3 pt line. I ask them to shoot, only stipulation is they can’t shoot short, idc if they make it, just be long. This allows them to figure out how to generate power within their form (typically it’s getting under the ball, and/or timing of their shot). Once they find the power and the accuracy, we move them back in. Suddenly, they feel how easy their shot can be from 3 pt distance. Lastly, I’ll ask questions about what the player is feeling so they can put in to words, what they felt and how they can replicate it
