In soccer, most of the players play the full 90 and run 6-10 miles in a match.

@chriscfore I love how American football fans complain about soccer when their sport plays only 10 to 15 minutes in 3 hours just because it is easy to score.

@KGrahamContent I assume you saw there were 4 ties and said those must have sucked. TBH, yeah, I wish there were wins, but I watched all 4 and they were either very back and forth excitement or amazing defensive efforts with phenomenal goalkeeping.

Another reason soccer is not popular here. Ties. They suck. In our country there is a winner and a loser. Why even have a game/match if no one wins?! And yes there are occasional ties in our NFL in the regular season and those suck as well.

@JoePatrick We have a history of moving on players quickly. How many do we have now that have been here longer than 2 years? So it's hard to imagine a player not looking at it as another stop when you know you won't be here long, regardless of how you play.

Say what you will about the talent of Atlanta United’s roster, but something it lacks completely is character. It’s more than just yelling. It’s about having accountability to fans, and transmitting that to the team. Parkhurst, Larentowicz, LGP, Gressel. These players didn’t see Atlanta as another stop. They were serious about winning.
