Former Falcons free-agent LB Arnold Ebiketie is signing a one-year, $7.3 million max deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, including $4.3 million fully guaranteed, per Damarius Bilbo of @KlutchSports. Ebiketie had eight sacks the past two seasons, and the Eagles are hoping for more of the same.

SLATER SCOOP: Atlanta Falcons James Pearce Jr. will no longer face a charge of aggravated battery on law enforcement. Sources tell me that prosecutors decided there wasn’t enough evidence on body-cam to charge him with that felony which could have put him in prison for 5 years. Four other charges were filed: Resisting an officer with violence, fleeing, stalking, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon for allegedly crashing his car into his ex girlfriend’s.

#Browns officially released TE David Njoku with a post-June 1st designation. Would expect #Falcons to consider Njoku, especially since he know longer counts towards the comp pick formula.

REGARDLESS, this almost seems like academic theory at this point bc it seems like really threading the needle for all this to come together.
