In some ways this dynamic is completely inverted from the USMNT I grew up with (basically the Donovan era). Capable of losing to anyone and somehow beating anyone. That’s what happens when you play off meta.

Atlanta United has found their scoring boots and after (again) disappointingly conceding in the opening moments of tonight's game, have scored three straight to lead 3-1 early in the second half. If the result holds, it'll be ATLUTD's first time reversing a losing position to win since they did so vs. ORL nearly a calendar year ago - May 28, 2025.
