@JotaBelieveIt What else is Slot going to say?
Slot can’t say the truth. That’d be him acknowledging that every game played is further proof he’s in over his head and that his ideas about lite training to prevent injury and possession-recycling based attacking football don’t work in the Prem
English

@HendrickD82 I’m not a sports memorabilia guy, but if I was the one thing I’d want is to hang a picture of his leaping header for the 3rd goal against Barca from the perspective of Allison.
English

@Gandalf_LFC Salah to RM to link back up with Trent and Klopp wouldn’t be a stretch. They could use a RW, and Spain is slower
English

@Nikky_LFC Nah. His Club med vacation with his buddies and the pinup girls holding the signs was an acknowledgment that Slot knew his time was short. Man couldn’t believe he got the Liverpool job or that he lucked into the title during a rebuild off of Salah’s incredible season.
English

@mulbry @HendrickD82 Kerkez wasn’t good at crossing at Bournemouth either. He also can’t take a man on or use his right foot. Hes elite defensively in 1v1 situations
English

@Lfc200123408 @HendrickD82 Hey pal, Slot doesn’t want Kerkez crossing the ball. Slot wants Kerkez recycling the ball back to VanDijk or Wirtz. Go watch highlights of Kerkez playing LB for Bournemouth and then come back here and tell us again that Kerkez can’t cross the ball.
English

@HendrickD82 Not optimal in the prem. need wingers. Also it only works with a good attacking left back or left wing back like Grimaldo. Kerkez can’t cross a ball
English

Genuine question and put your bias aside, what was mane even better at to be considered better than salah? The only debateable thing is pace and strength and even then it’s very close.

@Septimus01 @NotSlotaClue @HendrickD82 I believe the final straw for Edwards was when he wanted to drop Milner/Henderson and bring in Bruno Guimaraes and Klopp overruled him to maintain team unity/culture. And they were both correct? You have to have both fresh talent and a beating heart at the center of the club…
English

@NotSlotaClue @HendrickD82 Its more political, a strong manager made Edwards cry and leave. I'll leave you to work out the rest cus your a shrewd chap.
English

@HendrickD82 @NotSlotaClue I wouldn’t rewatch the game if I were Slot. What’s he going to learn? That he should’ve checked his ego and admit Salah is his best offensive player? That starting two strikers was moronic? That PSG never got out of second gear and still ran circles around Liverpool? Yikes…
English

@NotSlotaClue He should have been working. He hasn't rewatched the game once. Today was the first day he was at the Axa. The players and staff should all have been there yesterday.

Environmentalist logic, documented:
Cow farts: climate catastrophe
Private jet to climate conference: necessary travel
Cow eating grass: unsustainable
Almonds draining aquifers: plant-based progress
Cow using rainfall: water consumption
Soy monoculture requiring pesticides, herbicides, and fertiliser: environmentally conscious
Cow on permanent pasture: destroying the earth
Quinoa shipped 6,000 miles from the Bolivian altiplano: ethical choice
Cow producing manure that grows the grass that feeds the cow: waste
Plastic oat milk carton that cannot be recycled: sustainable packaging
The framework is internally consistent.
The cow is always wrong.
Everything else gets a pass.
For the record:
UK cattle numbers are down 26% since 1974. Obesity is up. Diabetes is up. Topsoil loss is accelerating. Bee populations are declining.
The cow left. The problems got worse.

I am a degreed meteorologist.
You, on the other hand, are the chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.
I live and breathe the weather for a living, you play politics.
If anyone is getting an education here, it will be you.
The hail report chart you posted is from the Wisconsin State Climatology Office at UW-Madison.
On that website, they state that the NWS upped the criteria of “severe hail” from 0.75 inch to 1.0 inch in January 2010, not the other way around like you claim. So, I was correct in plotting the 1-inch data as well as 1.50” for good measure.
Your reading comprehension skills suck horse dick, so I strongly recommend that you drive on down to LensCrafters and schedule an eye doctor appointment as soon as possible.
🔗 climatology.nelson.wisc.edu/highlighting-w…
Severe weather data, particularly hail reports, prior to the 2000s are not very reliable because the WSR-88D radar was not implemented until the early 1990s. The increase in rural population and increased use of cameras has resulted in the observed increase in spotter reports since the 1950s, which the website you pulled that chart from also states.
Here is more reading for you to do:
🔗 repository.library.noaa.gov/view/noaa/4543…
Over the 25-year period for which we have RELIABLE spotter and radar data for Wisconsin, there has been no detectable increase in severe hail reports of 1.0” or 1.50” in diameter.
You would be wise at this point to shut up, admit you were wrong, and show some humility here because you are not an expert on atmospheric science.

Devin Remiker@devinremikerwi
Glad I can educate you on this topic, seems like you really need the help. Your deceptive chart counts the raw # of reports, which includes multiple reports from the same events and doesn’t disprove the point. Below more accurately shows the increase large hail events over time in WI. Btw— the definition of severe hail was updated by NWS in 2010 to >=.75in, so your thresholds are dumb too.

@AfamT33452 @KlaesOPA @LFC_Franklin01 Same? Salah didn’t sacrifice a better life in Egypt to go toil in Liverpool because he had to. Salah chose to pursue a footballing dream that’s really only been possible in the last 50 years. It’s nothing short of a miracle that these youth academy opportunities exist at all.
English

Wirtz came through the German system.
Mane and Salah had to sacrifice everything and leave Africa to just get a chance at a lower level European club to prove their worth.
Do not compare them to protect a failed mega signing
Melvin wood@liverpaul66
Wirtz is 22. For comparison, our best left and right sided players in the last 30 plus years were either warming benches or in/at second tier leagues and clubs . Ekitike 23, with about 50 starts before he came here
English

@KlaesOPA @LFC_Franklin01 I get the stakes are higher for poorer kids from poorer countries. It’s just weird to use that as a hammer to pound on Wirtz because he was born in Germany and Liverpool paid a big transfer fee
English

@KlaesOPA @LFC_Franklin01 Sadio chose to leave his village, where his Father was an important Imam, to pursue his dream. And that’s beautiful. I’m so glad the modern world allows that chance. That also happens in Germany. Poor kid, has to uproot his life and his family to get to shot at an academy.
English

@KlaesOPA @LFC_Franklin01 There’s millions of kids who get tossed aside because they were deemed not good enough in academy programs all over the world including Britain and Germany. That’s the trenches. That’s the same. Maybe you’re arguing Wirtz had better fallback career options in Germany?
English

@mulbry @LFC_Franklin01 Nah man, Firmino , Mohamed and Sadio both legit weent trough the trenches. Even Nunez and lucho did. Not the same
English

@HendrickD82 @Xenceee It’s odd that when players get loaned to a different country or the championship the excuse is: ‘they need lots of game time and tons of repetition building skills’. But with Rio it's ‘we have to protect him’. Rio’s taking an important roster spot and no Gakpo alternative
English

@Xenceee Disagree on Rio. Think he should play the rest of the way but I'm glad we haven't overplayed him.
English

@NotoriousLFC Nah. The same was said about the likes of Matheus Cunha and Lenny Yoro going to Utd. or any of hundreds of recent Chelsea signings going to an already overloaded roster…. Turns out players just really really like lots of money and don’t worry about ascetics as much.
English
