I’ve been genuinely impressed with what FSG have achieved at Liverpool since they took over 16 years ago. They pulled us back from the brink of administration and turned us into one of the best run clubs in world football. They rebuilt Anfield, constructed one of the best training facilities in the Premier League, and brought in a generational manager in Jürgen Klopp who delivered every major trophy and put us firmly back on our fucking perch, both domestically and in Europe. As Liverpool fans, we should be grateful for everything FSG have done. Their work over the past decade and a half has been transformative. But all that incredible progress risks being undone if they make the biggest fucking mistake of their ownership, sticking with Arne Slot.. There is no way this man can take Liverpool Football Club forward. In just nine months, he has single handedly dismantled one of the fittest, strongest, and most formidable teams in Europe. The man is completely out of his depth, a fraud with no tactical awareness, no fight, and no fucking clue what he’s doing. It’s painfully obvious in every game. The passion has gone, the intensity has evaporated, and the team looks lost. We’re watching a side that was once a European powerhouse now struggling for top-four football, suffering heavy defeats, and showing none of the identity or hunger that defined us under Klopp. FSG need to act decisively and start planning for the future without Arne Slot. @FrankMundal @oleinder The referee calls the game as he sees fit, for better or worse. It’s a soft penalty but VAR has no excuse to intervene because the contact on Macca was clear. Just because VAR doesn’t agree with the call doesn’t mean they can overturn a subjective decision.

@oleinder This is exactly the same foul as what Isak did to VanDijk that got VanDijk sent off for DOGSO when Isak was playing for Newcastle. Macca doesn’t have to playing the ball for this to be a soft penalty. The defender has to control his momentum as he’s out of position behind Macca

@A_GymGuy I don’t watch Newcastle games so pardon the ignorance- can Isak press? Just from watching this season Isak looks poor at pressing defenders. A high press requires everyone to be excellent at cutting passing lanes and stepping into challenges. Maybe that’s on Slot’s formations?

I said this initially. To get best out of Isak you gotta press high. He would be amazing in a Klopp set up as the chances would fall to him in the box. In our current set up he’s not gonna do his best work in the box. It’s a bit of a waste

The fact VanDijk allowed Slot to steer the team off a cliff this season is a stinging indictment of his Captaincy. Instead of upholding the historical Liverpool standards, Virgil allowed LFC to become unrecognizable under his watch. Such a disappointing season on so many levels

The first time Slot quit training mid-week to go home to the Netherlands, Virgil VanDijk should’ve been calling a Captain’s practice. Not seen any leadership or accountability from the Liverpool Captain. Which is a real shame as Virgil is the best to ever play CB for the Reds.

@L4fckop Edwards and Hughes certainly get some blame for lack of recruiting, but this is a fireable offense for Slot. He persisted in playing a losing strategy despite the clear evidence that Grav was the main problem in defensive structure. Endo was right there to fix it but Slot refused

@mulbry Now you’d certainly hope they recognized that and actually get a DM to play there over Grav and move Grav into a squad role as an 8 which is his better position anyway. Sometimes shit works out (like last season) and sometimes it doesn’t (this season). It’s about how we learn

@L4fckop Szobz is that, Macca was that until recently and Gravenberch has never been that. The theme here is the disaster Slot allowed to happen by making Gravenberch the permanent DM. Grav might actually be useful on a different team in a different role. Who knows? Bayern certainly know

@Gandalf_LFC off the top of my head I can think of 5 incredible passes from yesterday’s game that Wirtz delivered. And his teammates either weren’t expecting the ball or completely failed to capitalize on the opportunity. Salah probably had the worst of those- free in the box, terrible touch

Wirtz isn't a winger. He isn't fast and can't dribble. He's not even a very good finisher. Can't you guys see the problem?
