I was so incredibly tired of all those sound generators that can only create retro sounds... so I created my own! It's a work in progress and it'll be part of a new project but enjoy some sounds I've made. Each of these took a minute tops! ✨

@heliofractal For me the fun of part of rogues is their systemic nature and resulting emergent play. I really tried to capture that in Ballionaire!

it is insane how deconstructed the roguelike genre is. games most unrelated to rogue are attributed to it due to a small element of the gameplay loop alone. you can't imagine a doom-like without guns and enemies, but can imagine a rogue-like without dungeons and potions?

Really don't have the power right now. But i keep coming back to the idea that HoMM like games should have as much miscellaneous art as possible, it's one of the few genres that allows you to really sit back and take it in.

Omelet You Cook is a game I immediately fell in love with. Not only is it a great game mechanically, but it's fully confident in its own goofiness and is teeming with creativity, joy, and playful fun. It embodies what I personally love about video games, and it's in EA RIGHT NOW!

Since PEGI gave us an 18+ rating for having evil playing cards maybe I should add microtransactions/loot boxes/real gambling to lower that rating to 3+ like EA sports FC
