Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is based in Savannah, Georgia. I’d take mine for routine service there if I had one.

Uganda’s creative economy is on an upward trajectory, offering immense opportunities for job creation. This afternoon, the Executive Director, Mr. @kasujja held discussions with renowned filmmaker @LoukmanAli on the sector and a potential strategic partnership.

UGANDA’s POTENTIAL By:- CHURCHILL The statements in the development plans for uganda in 1946 were none sentimental and mainly because he didn’t speak of the people of Uganda but our land. Churchill arrived Uganda on the 18th of November 1907, used then Uganda railway and crossed lake Victoria landing in Entebbe. Also called Port Alice then! He says Uganda is alive by itself, its vital, and in my view, in spite of its insects and diseases, it ought in the course of time to become the most prosperous of all our east and Central African possessions, and perhaps the financial driving wheel of all that part of the world. He adds, my counsel plainly is ‘ CONCENTRATE UPON UGANDA’ Nowhere else will the results be more brilliant, more substantial, or more rapidly realized’ Churchill came purposely to asses Uganda for the British investment and development, Uganda with all its possessions were meant to help the investment and development of Britain then. The extension of the rail from kisumu to Jinja and the building of Africas largest airport later Entebbe, was informed partly by his visit in 1907. Yes, was once Africas largest airport. The extension of the rail to Jinja was majorly for the cotton planted in uganda which prospered the spinning industry in Britain. HERE IS WHERE THE 2 PLANTING SEASONS COME IN HANDY! Has Uganda’s potential disappeared? NOT AT ALL! Our education isn’t good enough to help us dig deep and exploit that potential for our own prosperity. We need to question it!

🗣️| Spain manager Luis de la Fuente: “In England, they consider him (David Raya) the best goalkeeper in the world, and here nobody talks about him. The same goes for Joan Garcia and Alex Remiro, let’s be fair. But Unai Simon is indisputable.” “It would be unfair if we didn’t value Unai’s quality, class, career, and professional experience. It would be absurd for me to have to come here and reaffirm it, just because he’s Unai Simon. When a goalkeeper is at this level, you have to respect his standing and his career.“ “The others have a lot of talent and class, but everything in its own time.” [via SportsMole] 🇪🇸

Suppose the requirement for Hoima City to host AFCON is for the oil city to have at least five, five-star hotels, each with at least 50 rooms. Who is going to build or upgrade the current hotels in Hoima to that level for a mere one-month football season? 😂

Speaking of business challenges… In June last year, I took a business loan from @SHONACapital. I was so excited this had to be the turning point. What could go wrong? Turns out… everything can. I used the money well because I knew what was at stake, put into stock from China. Didn’t even touch a coin. Then importation delayeddddddd…URA and the whole process held my goods for 16 weeks, 4 months for something that used to take 6 weeks! In the 4 months, loan repayments started. No cash flow. Rent was running. Stock stuck in a bond in Namanve. Then taxes came out… more than half the cost of the stock I had imported. I sat in my car and cried for 20 minutes and asked myself Naye nfaki ? Why don’t I just stick to my 9-5 and leave this madness!! But then I looked at the people I employ, I picked myself up and somehow found the money within hours paid URA their money. I almost quit. I won’t lie. But I reminded myself, it’s me. I don’t have the luxury of giving up. So I reset. Rethought everything. Told myself if I fail, it won’t be because I didn’t fight. Today, we’re still here @thesoleconnect1 New location: Royce Mall, Level 4, Shop 1&2. New stock in. If you support a small business, you’re doing more than buying. You’re helping someone hold it together one more day.

Why has Kabale delayed to get a city status yet its more developed than Jinja!
