@ConversationEDU @Sydney_Uni Dr King heads the pelvic floor clinic @ Westmead and primarily treats women with #mesh injuries. This is unsettling, her personal views do not align with her position. Since the Senate Inquiry #transvaginalmesh in 2017 she has taken every opportunity to call this Hysterical Bias

There has been a "radical overhaul in the use of vaginal mesh implants", but this came with unintended consequences. Women should have access to safe, effective procedures to treat incontinence + prolapse – including those using mesh. @Sydney_Uni bit.ly/3DBOBB0

This was ALL Preventable Harm - TV #Mesh Devices from 7+ Manufacturers remained on market after Boston Scientific ProteGen SUI Mesh was Recalled in 1999 (it was the ONLY One ever Recalled) ProteGen was the Predicate for ALL TV Mesh Devices that received Clearances from the FDA.
