The Fed can move price. It can't pause block production. Based rollups inherit that indifference to sentiment. No central operator adjusting behaviour based on headlines. Infrastructure that doesn't care about sentiment is infrastructure you can actually build on.

Taiko Takes 🥡 This week, everyone's watching the Fed. Bitcoin swung between $92k and $94k ahead of today's expected interest rate cut. Bitcoin ETFs saw $60 million flow out on Monday, then $152 million flow back in on Tuesday. The market is nervous. Six of the last seven Fed meetings this year caused Bitcoin to drop. Traders have been reducing leverage. Smaller holders are selling. Larger holders are buying. The entire market is waiting: will the Fed chairman signal more rate cuts next year or fewer? Standard Chartered just cut its year-end Bitcoin target from $200,000 to $100,000. Analysts debate whether Bitcoin's recent bounce is real or temporary. Everyone agrees the rate cut itself is priced in. What matters is what Powell says about the future. While all this unfolds, Ethereum keeps processing blocks. No pause for market panic. No adjustment for Fed announcements. No reaction to money flowing in and out of ETFs. That separation matters. Markets react to news because participants make decisions based on expectations, fear and positioning. Infrastructure runs on math and protocol rules. Based rollups inherit this independence. Transaction ordering continues regardless of what Powell says because there's no central operator adjusting behavior based on market conditions. The rate cut might move price. It won't change how blocks get produced. When you build on infrastructure that doesn't react to sentiment, your application inherits that stability. Markets can panic. The foundation keeps running.

When the biggest names in Ethereum start building on your tech stack, you know something's cooking @ensdomains + @Nethermind didn't just wake up and choose based rollups by accident. They saw the future. Taiko stack is HERE. Time to pay attention 👀
Taiko.eth 🥁@taikoxyz

🥁 It's happening: @ensdomains and @nethermind are building on Taiko Stack! Namechain launches as a based rollup on @Nethermind's Surge (built on our technology). No centralized sequencer. No compromises. Just Ethereum validators from day one. Based rollups are becoming inevitable. Don't sleep on it!👇 taiko.mirror.xyz/ud9MH9atVgJok-…

Taiko Takes 🥡 It’s been a noisy few days in crypto: @0xPolygon's CEO questioned his loyalty to Ethereum, @redstone_defi parted ways with its CMO, @EclipseFND went rogue with their Twitter marketing, an @awscloud outage took down multiple web3 protocols, and the Louvre even got robbed. Among everything happening this week, the AWS outage highlights a critical point about decentralization. It’s funny in some ways, but it’s also telling: so much of “decentralized” web3 still sits on centralized servers. When AWS goes down, so do they. Taiko didn't. The bridge interface experienced a minor disruption due to a Vercel issue, but block production continued, sequencing remained online, and transactions kept flowing. Taiko doesn’t rely on a single centralized sequencer or provider. Its decentralized architecture ensures the chain keeps running even if one part of the infrastructure experiences issues. This isn't luck. It's intentional design. Being based isn't a slogan; it's the architecture that keeps the chain running when centralized infrastructure fails. Taiko was built for decentralization from the ground up, proving what resilient web3 infrastructure looks like in practice. Amid all the noise these past few days, this is the story that actually matters. Decentralization isn't a buzzword. It's measurable, it's provable, and it's the difference between resilience and failure.

When @taikoxyz launched its Mainnet in May 2024, it redefined Layer 2 design by prioritizing decentralization and security over raw performance. A bold stance that, as COO Joaquin Mendes (@Joaquin_Mendes1) reveals, reflects the team’s long-term vision to build Ethereum’s first fully based rollup with uncompromising principles and a user-first ecosystem. Taiko Based rollup L2 operates as a true public good now, completely decoupled from its engineering team. This is real on-chain governance with world-class leadership, and what credible neutrality looks like. Bullish on ownerless infrastructure 🥁🥁🥁
Taiko.eth 🥁@taikoxyz

Taiko DAO just appointed 3 Board Directors: Joy Lam, Professor Felix Oberholzer-Gee, Professor Wen Yonggang and an Advisor, CPA Ren Jang. These seasoned, highly accomplished leaders will supercharge our Security Council & community as binding on-chain governance goes LIVE at dao.taiko.xyz. Another step toward an ownerless, neutral L2 truly owned by its users.
