Gold blowing past $5,600 this early tells you forecasts are chasing reality, not leading it. Central banks, reserve diversification, and tokenized gold flows are tightening supply. If real yields roll over, $6,500–$7,000 by end-2026 isn’t an extreme outcome. IMO, forecasts missed it because they’re linear. Gold at $5,600 reflects structural demand, not panic. Central banks + tokenized gold = higher floor through 2026.

Google built a quantum circuit that can break Bitcoin's encryption. Then they refused to publish it. So we asked Dr. Ben Goertzel, CEO of the ASI Alliance, what he thought. His answer stopped us cold: "We are confident that we could regenerate the 'secret circuit' Google found using our own expertise and reasonable compute, and if we can do it, the Chinese government and other well-resourced actors certainly can too." In an exclusive interview with BeInCrypto, Goertzel laid out why: → Bitcoin's security model collapses once quantum attack probability exceeds single digits. Google models 41%. → ASI Alliance built its blockchain quantum-oriented from day one, not as a patch. → Government seizure of dormant Bitcoin would set a "catastrophic precedent for digital property rights." → The projects that survive will be the ones that started engineering for quantum years ago. Google set a 2029 deadline. Most of the industry doesn't have a plan. Goertzel says his team is already on the other side of that window. Full exclusive below 👇 beincrypto.com/goertzel-asi-a…

@PeterSchiff Again, I ask, will it be the Japanese government's bond yields or America's that moves Bitcoin ? JP10Y or US10Y?

On April 9th, as the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield rose to 4.52%, Trump paused the Liberation Day tariffs. In his words, the bond market got “yippy.” The 10-year Treasury yield is now 4.46% and rising. Once yields top 4.52%, the market will go yippy yappy. Will Trump pause the war?

@phongle Do you think they could stop selling BlackRock's IBIT in favor of $MSBT? Do you think MSBT could outperform IBIT ultimately or in such a scenario? @phongle

Tether AI breakthrough Tether AI team just released new version of QVAC Fabric to include the World’s First Cross-Platform BitNet LoRA Framework to Enable Billion-Parameter AI Training and Inference on Consumer GPUs and Smartphones. Background Microsoft's BitNet uses one bit architecture to dramatically compress models. Traditional LLMs operate on full-precision computation, where weights are stored as complex, high-resolution numbers. The innovation of BitNet is that it shrinks these weights into a tiny ternary range of only -1, 0, and 1. significantly reducing memory usage and computation. LoRA, is a parameter-efficient fine-tuning technique that reduces the number of trainable parameters by up to ninety-nine percent. Together they slash memory and compute requirements. Yet BitNet has mostly been limited to CPU or CUDA NVIDIA backends, and lacked the support of LoRA fine-tuning. Enters QVAC Fabric: the unlock Today, with QVAC Fabric LLM, is the first time BitNet LoRA fine-tuning and inference work cross-platform across GPU vendors and operating systems using Vulkan and Metal backends. That means support for AMD, Intel, Apple Metal and also Mobile GPUs. And for the first time ever, BitNet inference runs efficiently on smartphones using mobile GPUs. On flagship devices, GPU inference is 2 to 11 times faster than CPU while using up to 90% less memory than the full precision models. The biggest unlock: QVAC Fabric LLM support for BitNet LoRA fine-tuning on heterogeneous GPUs. Our team was able to demonstrate this by fine tuning models up to 3.8 billion parameters on all flagships phones such as Pixel 9, S25 and iPhone 16 and up to 13 billion parameter models on the iPhone 16. Github repositories: github.com/tetherto/qvac-… : general QVAC Fabric codebase github.com/tetherto/qvac-… : specific QVAC Fabric's BitNet knowledge base, architecture docs and pre-built binaries What does it mean? What used to require dedicated GPUs now runs on consumer hardware. This breakthrough is the first real-world signal of a local private AI that can truly serve the people. And this is just the beginning. In the next months and years Tether will relentlessly continue to invest significant amounts of resources and capital to continue to research and develop open-source intelligence that can scale and evolve on local devices, providing maximum utility and privacy to its users. The era of Stable Intelligence has just begun. Free as in freedom.

A poll by @paulbarron found crypto users overwhelmingly favor anti-surveillance protections. Senate drafts would let Treasury freeze or seize crypto without court orders. Stablecoin yield disputes remain the primary obstacle to Senate passage. beincrypto.com/clarity-act-po…

#DeFi can be confusing. Not sure what happened with @Aave yesterday? Here's a simple explanation of how a small pricing error triggered $26M in forced #liquidations, and what it means for users. A break down of exactly how a two-setting mismatch inside Aave wiped out $26M in user positions...in plain English. beincrypto.com/aave-oracle-ws…

I used to write SEO content like it was a formula. Target keyword. Build backlinks. Fix the technical stuff. Watch the rankings climb. And honestly? It worked. I have articles from years ago still sitting on page one of Google... all written before AI was even a blip on anyone's radar. But watching the game shift in real time, you can't pretend the old playbook covers everything anymore. People aren't just typing into a search bar and clicking a blue link. -They're getting answers from AI. -They're trusting summaries. -They're discovering brands through recommendations they never searched for. So now the question isn't just "does this rank?" It's "Will an AI pull this when someone asks the exact problem my customer has?" The new landscape (AIO, GEO, AEO, SXO) sounds like alphabet soup, but it really comes down to one thing: being the most trusted, clearest, most citable source in your space. Search didn't die. It got bigger. Are you still only optimizing for Google, or are you building for how people actually find answers now?

🚨NEW: @krakenfx, the U.S.’s second-largest crypto exchange, has just done something no other crypto firm has done before: secured coveted access to the Federal Reserve. According to a report by the @WSJ released this morning, the exchange’s banking arm, Kraken Financial, has been approved for a Federal Reserve master account by the Kansas City Fed, marking the first time a crypto-native company has gained direct, albeit limited, access to the Fed’s payments system. The approval comes five and a half years after Kraken filed its application with the Kansas City Fed in October 2020. The account gives Kraken a direct line into the Fed’s payments rails, but not access to Federal Reserve lending facilities. Under the limited-purpose, or “skinny,” master account framework floated by Fed Governor Christopher Waller, the firm can hold reserves and settle in central bank money, but it cannot lend, access the Fed’s discount window, or operate as a traditional commercial bank. Governor Waller is seeking to finalize his skinny master account proposal by the end of this year. The Kraken approval, sources tell me, is designed as a “pilot” program to trial the skinny master account concept. The skinny master account is in line with payments-only accounts provided by central banks in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Switzerland. The decision marks a historic shift for an industry long shut out of the traditional banking system and signals a softer tone at the Fed, which critics had previously described as hostile to crypto under the prior administration. The decision also impliedly recognizes that the Fed believes Kraken has sufficient anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance practices to curb illicit finance risk, and that Wyoming’s regulatory framework for special purpose depository institutions (SPDIs) is in line with Federal banking standards. This could kick off a surge of Fed master account applications from other crypto firms. On the horizon: Wyoming’s @custodiabank, which has been chasing access nearly as long as Kraken and has been engaged in litigation against the Fed since 2022. @Anchorage, an OCC-regulated trust bank, and @Ripple's U.S. banking partner have also applied for master accounts. More to come.
