At the wake last night for Officer Bartholomew I spent time talking with his wife & family. It absolutely broke me. All night long it continues to break me. His little girl has the same name as one of my daughters and his grandfather was my priest growing up. Words can’t describe the pain & sorrow I feel for his family. That this little girl will live the rest of her life without her daddy is a devastating thought. I can’t stop thinking about the family and their future. Let’s all pray for them and keep them in our hearts. The system we have MUST do better. It’s on all of us to try to make sure another little girl doesn’t lose her daddy. Rest in Peace Officer Bartholomew. 🤲
