One thing that I find pretty interesting is how similar the "SGA is an unwatchable product" take is to the "the way the Celtics play is unwatchable" take we heard during their title run Neither is true, and most come from upset fanbases who are just mad their favorite team got the belt

Other two December games Wemby averages 15.5/8/.5/.5 against OKC.
He wasn’t even the MVP on his team Christmas Day.

You just can't parse out the contexxt of these games with injuries, travel, rest, where the team is at, where the team is not at, matchups, etc. If your guy plays great and his team shoots badly from 3? if your team wins and your guy had a mediocre game? We have to be able to apply it across the board and you can't

@HPbasketball I never said it wasn’t a close race, my point: in close races h2h should totally be a topic of conversation, especially when it was one-sided. Like sure, there isn’t a second win literally added to Christmas Day or NBA Cup games, but you can’t tell me the Kings matter the same.

The gap between Wemby & SGA on defense is just as big, if not bigger, than the gap between SGA & Jokic on defense.
So if defense is that important, like it was last yr in voting, I don't see how Wemby doesn't have the edge for MVP.
