Seriously, like they know what they’re doing! Angus Taylor just said that, “does Australians really think that One Nation can run a 3 trillion dollar economy”. Angus, does Australia really think the Coalition can? You just delivered the worst result since Federation. 43 seats. Your predecessor lost his own electorate. The party has split twice in nine months. You’re polling behind One Nation nationally and asking whether THEY can run the economy? Here’s a better question: who’s been running it for the last 40 years and how’s that going? Housing unaffordable. Manufacturing gutted. Economic complexity ranking 105th in the world, below Uganda. R&D spending the lowest in the developed world. 30 days of fuel reserves. 30% of exports dependent on one country. Prisons overflowing. Public housing waitlists where people die waiting. That’s not One Nation’s track record. That’s yours. Yours and Labor’s. Together. Over four decades. One Nation hasn’t had the chance to run anything because the two-party system has locked them out while delivering exactly the results Australians are furious about. The arrogance of that question is precisely why One Nation is polling where it is. Australians aren’t turning to Pauline because they think she has all the answers. They’re turning to her because they know YOU don’t. You want to win those voters back Angus? Don’t mock them for leaving. Ask yourself why they left. What’s your thoughts…? Peter Lyndon-James 🇦🇺

@TonyHWindsor Denmark is based when it comes to handling immigrants. Complete opposite of Australia and Canada in that it's forcing assimilation and integration by dismantling ethnic enclaves, forcing immigrants to learn their language and culture and deporting them if they refuse.

Local councils have begun forced selling people’s homes over unpaid rates. Local governments should have ZERO recourse to FORCE a sale to recover a debt that’s a fraction of the amount due. This isn’t even done under law, but a regulation of local government!! This is insane

Keating on Hanson - 11 November, 1996 The sting of Keating’s intellect and his ability to define Hanson’s character so succinctly is as true today as it was then. #auspol

@JEChalmers That sounds a lot less worse off than we currently are thanks to price increases caused by you. When is our electricity bill going to be $275 less than it was when you got into government?

1 year ago today the Liberals confirmed they‘d vote against Labor’s tax cuts for every taxpayer. Australians would be $50 a week worse off if Angus Taylor had his way on repealing Labor's tax cuts and cost of living relief. Labor is delivering a tax cut this year and another next year, as well cheaper medicines and more bulk billing to help with the cost of living.

Senator Matt Canavan
Australia's farmers have labelled Labor's no free trade deal with Europe as “pretty embarrassing”, “disappointing”, “pathetic”, “unfair”, “simply appalling” and “a horrendous outcome”. And on top of that this - worst deal ever - also seeks to bind Australia to the Paris Agreement and climate goals. Under this deal, Labor has made a "binding" commitment to the Paris Agreement. And the EU will be able to seek to "suspend trade preferences" if they believe that Australia has committed "serious violations" of labour or climate obligations. Labor has traded away our sovereignty away for beans.

It won’t be pretty, but running out of fuel might be the wake-up call Australia needs. Feels like we’re one step from “two weeks to flatten the curve” all over again. Welcome to the Thunderdome.

There's now a new threat for those who ride illegal e-bikes: a giant shredder. The Minns Government is fast-tracking laws that will see outlawed e-bikes seized and crushed, but the Opposition says the clampdown should go further. #nswpol
