Today I made my fifth batch of pickles (fridge sour in a gallon jar) since this time last year. I love the idea of pickling--taking simple ingredients and letting them sit together to become something great.

@siyegen I hate that they call it "unlimited" PTO. There is definitely a limit.

@siyegen Every time I go to do a thing, I think to myself "would a cat do this," and if the answer is no, then I do not do that thing.

@ruppehill I dunno. That house was too small. You saw that they were all sleeping there before the trip. Any house that can only provide sleeping space for a familial multiplex isn't large enough for a party containing the same families.

I dunno I feel like maybe the McCallisters should’ve done Christmas in their massive, Christmas decorated house the year after their eight year old was left home alone? Like maybe take a year off?
