The US aid to Israel like it does to many other countries is an agreement between two countries. My personal opinion - Israel shouldn't take it. Is it all free?..no actually. (1) It ties israel exclusively to US on certain military areas (2) US benefits a lot from Israeli technology which is shared as part of the defense aid agreement. So your statement that US aid and your tax is what keep Israel surviving is not correct and dishonest!

Lol If I was reslly hateful and you wanted to have a decent conversation you would. Im not and you don't so you resort to emotional tactics once youre on the backfoot. Just say "We do rely on the US to survive" and admit it. You dont seem to have an answer otherwise why Israel doesnt need 1% of their total gap but still takes it from the US. When you have answers that aren't emotional, please reply. Rabbi just means teacher and youre teaching g me about yourself. If you think it is derogatory you need to be less antisemitic

If it's "only 1%" of your gdp and nothing else, why does your country take it? Oh, rabbi, it's because youre just pretending it's monetary aid. There's active military aid, our bought out US government. Etc. Lol Do you debate the Demiurge this poorly? No wonder God cast you out in favor of the Christians.

Tel Aviv shouldn’t exist. Israel shouldn’t exist. The concept of Israeli should be abolished. The land is Palestine. The people are Palestinian. The land should be returned to its people. The only way forward is through the dismantlement of Zionism, from the river to the sea

@EMichaelJones1 Ok, so how is an Islamist regime who has "Death to America" in their charter and openly called many times in their parliament, who have killed Americans and Christians over many years through terror attacks and proxy war not considered a real threat? What is a real threat?

Catholic Just War principles, formally known as the "just war doctrine" in Catholic teaching, outline the strict moral conditions under which the use of military force can be considered legitimate (primarily as legitimate defense). The Church's definitive modern presentation appears in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), especially paragraphs 2307–2314. The Church strongly prefers peace and states that "all citizens and all governments are obliged to work for the avoidance of war" (CCC 2308). War is always a grave evil, but under very narrow circumstances, nations are not denied the right to lawful self-defense when peace efforts fail. The core principles are the four strict conditions for the moral legitimacy of resorting to military force (jus ad bellum — the right to go to war), as listed in CCC 2309: The damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain. This requires a just cause — typically serious aggression or threat that is real, substantial, and not speculative. All other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective. War must be a last resort, after diplomacy, sanctions, negotiations, and other non-violent options have genuinely failed. There must be serious prospects of success. There must be a reasonable chance that military action will achieve the intended good (e.g., stopping the aggression) and not be futile. The use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated. This is the principle of proportionality: the anticipated costs (human suffering, destruction, long-term consequences) must not outweigh the good achieved. The Catechism notes that "the power of modern means of destruction weighs very heavily in evaluating this condition." These conditions must all be met simultaneously. The judgment about whether they apply belongs to those responsible for the common good (typically legitimate political authorities), but always with rigorous moral scrutiny. Catholic teaching also includes principles for how war must be conducted even if it meets the above criteria (jus in bello): Distinction between combatants and non-combatants (civilians must not be directly targeted). Proportionality in individual military actions. Avoidance of intrinsically evil means (e.g., indiscriminate weapons, torture, targeting civilian populations). In summary, the Catholic tradition — developed by thinkers like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas and refined in modern documents — does not glorify war but permits it only as a tragic, defensive necessity when all these stringent criteria are fulfilled. The presumption is always toward peace.

Western wall (Kotel) is closed as well. You are being dishonest here - let us say god forbidden some one dies while attending the church from shrapnel, you will say that "Israel does not protect Christians and allowed Christians to be targeted". Many institutes across Israel including schools are closed. Protection against missiles at war time is not theology and should not be based on priest or clerics thoughts. It is a national security decision.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre has been closed by the Israeli authorities, against the wishes of the clergy. This is the holiest site in Christianity - the location of Jesus’ death and burial. Freedom of religion is a fundamental human right.

Hey Israel.. 👋 🇮🇱 Why are you closing the Church of the Holy Sepulchre during the most sacred time of the year? This is not just any place. This is one of the holiest sites in Christianity. In times of war, people turn to God. They pray harder. They search for meaning. Closing the doors to a place like this, at a time like this, does not make sense. Scared of an attack? Security concerns? Guard it heavier. Tons of Christian countries would offer their services to guard it. This is terrible. Open the doors.

What’s going on in the world? Why are so many Catholics becoming extremely hateful toward Israel? What’s happening? I’m so confused. George Farmer: converted to Catholicism Candace Owens: converted to Catholicism Megyn Kelly: raised Catholic Carrie Prejean: converted to Catholicism Theo Von: raised Catholic Joe Kent: raised Catholic Tucker Carlson: said he’s interested in Catholicism, and his wife has begun attending the Rosary Can’t be all coincidence 🧐 Cc:@patrickbetdavid @MattWalshBlog @tylerbowyer @JeremyDBoreing @SethDillon

Israel has closed the Church of the Holy Sepulchre indefinitely for the first time in the history of Christianity. Holy Week and Easter services will be prohibited. Sunday masses and liturgies cancelled. A church that should be packed with hundreds of thousands these coming weeks is being forcibly shut and silenced. Israel cites it is for ‘security concerns’ while Jewish Israelis are allowed to celebrate in mass gatherings. Alongside the forced closure of Al-Aqsa mosque, reports cite priests aggressively being turned away to perform daily services. Throughout history, wars, tensions, or even the pandemic limited access to the sanctuary, but they had never prevented liturgical celebrations in this central place of Christian faith indefinitely. Christians must not remain silent.

America’s greatest ally, Israel, has ordered the Church of the Holy Sepulchre closed amid the Iran War, with the Empty Tomb barricaded, and no plans to open during Holy Week. The Holy Fire will not be present either. It is the first time in millennia that this event has happened. Follow: @AFpost
