As expected - बंगाल चुनाव खत्म होने के अगले ही दिन TMC का चुनावी कैंपेन देख रही IPAC के निदेशक विनेश चंदेल को निचली अदालत से जमानत मिली।चुनाव के दौरान ED ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग का आरोप लगाकर विनेश चंदेल को गिरफ्तार किया। चुनाव खत्म होते की ED ने विनेश की जमानत का विरोध नहीं किया और निचली अदालत से ही ज़मानत मिल गई।ED की वजह से चुनावों में I Pac और TMC के चुनावी कैंपेन पर काफ़ी हद तक असर पड़ा।
