We're still learning about the horrific shooting in Nashville. But if early reports are accurate that a trans shooter targeted a Christian school, there needs to be a lot of soul searching on the extreme left. Giving in to these ideas isn't compassion, it's dangerous.

@RadioFreeTom Virginia requires 40 hours in-class instruction, 10 hours instructor supervised driving and record of 40 additional hours including at night if you are under 20. My son did it, my daughters didn't. They could get license at age 20 without any of that.

@RadioFreeTom States have significantly upped the requirements for drivers' licenses for kids under the age of 20. It can be done, but it competes a lot more with school work and activities than it did when I was learning to drive.

For the rest, it’s another extra curricular. Only do it if your kids LOVES it and everyone understands it is not a golden ticket to college/career.

As parents, we're at the age where we are truly entering The Organized Sports era and I guess we just...don't get to do anything other than take kids to games and practices for the next 6-8 years. Is that the deal?

@chrislhayes Do your kids actually enjoy the sport in question? Is it displacing other activities they might equally enjoy, like music or art?

Cannon is overseeing DOJ investigation pre-charge, hence, separation of powers issue.

Chief Judge Pryor recognizes the Trump position as one that compromises the separation of powers by inviting judicial intrusion into a core executive function without showing a likely Fourth Amendment violation. It’s over.
