For the younger crowd wondering why the great Rolando Blackman was up on stage tonight for the Mavs. Well besides the fact he’s a team legend, a huge moment in his career and for many Mavs fans was the 1987 NBA All-Star Game. The West was down by 2 at the end and Ro was fouled. He went to the line with no time on the clock and made both FTs to send it to OT with an iconic image of him screaming “Confidence Baby Confidence!!!!” as the second FT was on the way and going in the hoop! They're not closing for road issues. Schools are closing for record cold tomorrow morning and below zero wind chills. They don't want kids standing outside in below zero wind chills waiting for the bus.
