@WillJPowers The ps5 pro version is inundated with visual issues with strobing and flickering, there also the issue with the environment outlines and objects in world with strobing, which is a issue digital foundry pointed out.
When will you be fixing that then ?

@Dk06C @Nippy_Kangaroo @CrimsonDesert_ It’s easy to tell, faces lose a ton of clarity and it also effects the body of the npc creating a bubble of blurriness around them at a certain distance but background detail further back have way more clarity, it’s intentional.

@Ruz518 @CrimsonDesert_ No, it’s the game, even if the background I can see RT reflection issues with the white looking plums.
Thats the same issue with RE9 requiem, with PSSR upgraded, they even turned RT off in second half of the game because of the issue and they still haven’t fixed it.

@EdwardL21427775 @CrimsonDesert_ Yea I’m in performance mode I changed it from the default balance mode in the menu, I’m on 60hz.
I have checked all the settings, the game just has a lot of visual artefacts.

@redslayerknows @CrimsonDesert_ I just started the game and it looks great. Are you sure you are playing on performance mode (to activate pssr 2.0) Pssr enhance activated and also with 120hz mode deactivated?

@RobGlen32 @CrimsonDesert_ If you pause the game it makes it super easy to see, a lot of the processes stop in the pause menu, it will show exactly how much shimmering there is in the background or on characters and armour.

it should be a priority as it affects everything

@RobGlen32 @CrimsonDesert_ It’s ridiculous, you might as well cover everyone’s face with how messed up it is.
Also the flickering and shimmering from grass and reflections are insane, I can’t play it like that, literally gives me headaches.

@cerny @jackhuynh @AMD The PSSR upgrade on crimson Desert looks awful, it’s filled with visual artefacts and strobing issues.
Even in ghosts of yotei the strobing on clothes and fabrics ain’t fixed with PSSR upgrade, it struggles with camera panning too.

Just tried FSR Upscaling 4.1 in a few PC games. It’s based on the same neural network as the upgraded PSSR we released for PS5 Pro… and it looks stunning!

@CrimsonDesert_ Every time I launch Crimson Desert on my PS5 Pro with my 4K 120Hz display, the game automatically starts in 2K. It looks really blurry and ugly. There are tons of visual artifacts and flickering all over the screen. I honestly feel like I’ve been ripped off.

Blurry characters from 3 feet away is awful and cliffs hair and beard is shimmering.

@GenePark Il find out how good it is when i play it, if it’s combat is being compared to devil may cry, I play these games till every mission is S and I have the untouchable score rank
So il analyse it fairly and see it’s strength and weaknesses, people complained about DMC sponge enemies

since i don’t like crimson desert’s combat feel, people are asking what combat feel i enjoy and ninja gaiden 4 last year is a great example. classic platinum games in general.

@platinumgames @TeamNINJAStudio Yep, still issues with memory leak on ps5 pro version after extended play, training room has frame rate issues for some reason.
You haven’t reworked the score system, it’s too easy to Cheez it with berserk score with some weapons.
Ryu weapon is very basic and has little moves.
