The Nashik #TCS Jihad Case: You know how the women were groomed?
One of the victim's family members told me how this woman was slowly manipulated into following Islamic practices. How?
1. This once modern girl, who used to wear jeans and short clothes, started wearing full-sleeve salwar suits.
2. The face cover she used to protect herself from the sun began to be tied like a hijab.
3. During the 40-day Ramadan period, she would tell her family that she would have lunch at the office and would come home only to lock herself in her room. She would then eat at a specific time.
4. She stopped going to the temple, stopped putting a tilak on her forehead, and started using words like "InshaAllah".
5. She goes to the prayer room in the office and allegedly offers Namaz a number of times a day.
6. Offering namaz would get her a raise and not the pooja. Also, she was asked to stop wearing lipstick and follow Islamic practices.
Later, it came out that she was being manipulated by Tousif Attar, Danish Sheikh, and Nida Khan in the office. When confronted, she said Danish loved her blindly and that she would do anything for him.
It was only after her family showed her pictures with other women that she broke down and complained. Otherwise, she was even okay with converting to Islam. Even after knowing about the marriage of Danish, she was ok with it.
She had come to believe that the Shivling was a genital, that Kanha (Krishna) was a womaniser, and that Draupadi was a woman of loose character. Such shallow knowledge of our own religion makes our daughters vulnerable to this propaganda. The strong conviction about Jannat and Jahannum is another such factor.
Anyway, the TCS case has triggered so much outrage only because it happened in a big city, in a big corporate office, a place where no one had imagined it could occur.
It’s not always the illiterate people who fall for Jihad; it’s the so-called educated elites as well.
I spoke at length about the TCS case as well as other such patterns with @PramaTimes. Attaching the link to the conversation in my next tweet, also watch and share.

If your customers are fighting your system before they even reach you, well, then that’s not efficiency. That’s failure.

@Airtel_Presence Sir, my internet is not working and I have trying to reach out since a few days. On app, it said, will be fixed in 4 hours but sadly it did not. On call, the bot says we are working on it ... its temporary. I have been facing issues from almost a month now.
English

@reflection0729 We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have faced, Shivani. We are here to assist you and would kindly request you to share us your respective Airtel details along with a bit more elaboration on your concern so that we can assist you accordingly. Thanks, Supriyo twitter.com/messages/compo…

@airtelindia How the hell can I talk to your customer care executive instead of repeated IVR garbage. Tried both 198 and 121 same issues.... no option to speak with executive.

Was super hungry after my shift, ordered a burger from @ownlyfoodapp and guess what, the order was delivered but just not to me? Can I know where the hell my food is and to whom it was delivered because I am still waiting? The chat support is extremely useless. @rapidobikeapp

Mr. Joeman Maneual seems to have flown away with food. So
@rapidobikeapp
tell me, is your new zero-commission food app really an app or just a new way to scam people?

Samay Raina is just a comic. Some jokes land, some don’t. Some may be too dark, some below the belt.
Police abuse and media circus made him into some kind of a revolutionary for those who hate State excesses.
If you don’t like his comedy, don’t watch it. Heck, convince hundred others not to watch it. Run a boycott campaign to put pressure on financial sponsors not to sponsor his shows. That’s your freedom of speech.
But don’t ask the State to step in. State has a monopoly on violence to restrain liberties which must be used judiciously. Poor or cruel jokes don’t make someone a criminal.
And if you think your kids get “influenced” by him, the problem, frankly, is with your parenting. If you’re frustrated that your kids look up to him and don’t listen to you, maybe it’s time for introspection.

I was watching Dhruv Rathee's latest video while having dinner, and honestly, I was laughing throughout. He kept quoting what seemed like factually incorrect claims, apparently picked up from different social media platforms.
But there was one moment where things suddenly changed, and it genuinely made me think.
Throughout the video, while referring to Aditya Dhar and Narendra Modi, he used words like "uska" and "tu," which come across as casual or even disrespectful.
However, the moment he started talking about Atiq Ahmed and his brother, who were killed in an encounter, his tone shifted noticeably, and he began using words like "unke" and "unke liye," as if showing a certain level of respect.
Now, I understand that he may have strong disagreements with Dhar and Modi, but imagine showing more respect to a criminal who himself admitted to having links with the ISI.
At this point, it honestly feels like Dhruv Rathee isn't even trying to hide it anymore.
