ok round 2 of predicting Day 1 FDVs.
i'm doubtful of the narrative trade on MegaETH, i just don't think it has the same chops as CHIP or XPL. the counter pt is MON traded to $4b FDV in November (shitty market enviro). and $2-3b is decently digestible for potentially the most performant chain available today.
but if the float is genuinely 4%, then I think this would be an incredibly easy token to pump, and narrative matters less. the market wants runners right now. esp right after CHIP + post-war run up, many feeling sidelined w fomo.
$2b at 29c is a tad higher than i'd like, so set some limits around 15-25c. $3b around 5c. lets see if we can make some magic again.

what this actually does is psychologically push users into longer registrations, locking in liquidity now instead of over time (t +8–10 years). so even if total revenue might be lower in the long run, the DAO is effectively prioritizing immediate cash flow
using long registrations as a signal of “users” is weak.

And no, im not saying $5 for 5+ characters is too high.
i even helped temp check this years ago, and there was an intense discussion about renewals being too expensive for 3 4 chrs and too cheap for 5+ chrs. that debate has existed for a long time.
