@CJFWrites Weren’t they like 3-16 in the conference? Does it matter if there are no players returning?

BREAKING: #LSU guard, Jalen Reece has entered the Transfer Portal. The Tigers now have ZERO players on their roster on Day 22 of the Will Wade era in Baton Rouge.

When you look at the past of Ole Piss, you almost understand why a win over 𝐋𝐒𝐔 💜💛 in anything is a banner-hanging event. Over 93 years in the SEC, they look upon those wins as championships. 😎🤭

@theficouple The correct answer is invest in the stock market. The effective rate is a point lower after mortgage interest is deducted. The only mathematical correct answer is invest in stocks.

Let’s say you had $132,000 in the bank. But you also have a $132,000 mortgage at 4.8%. Would you invest the money in the stock market or pay off the house?

LSU and Ole Miss were 2 of the 13 charter members of the SEC in 1932. Going from LSU to Ole Piss is going from 𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄 to wannabe. 😎🤭

@ronrule One step further. The date that orders a $500 bottle of wine vs. $50. No additional work, but a ten-fold price change.

Percentages make no sense for tipping. I go to a restaurant and order a $20 steak. Guy at the table next to me orders a $100 steak. If I tip $5 I’m considered a great tipper, but he’s expected to tip at least $20. Why? The server literally did the same amount of work!

One thing that's often missing from these analysis is walk-ons and partial scholarship kids. It's going to vary, but on a track or XC team the vast majority of folks are paying a large part of tuition and housing. That $ goes to the school. Not counted for revenue in athletic departments. And at some schools (not all, some the opposite) you get higher quality kids that wouldn't choose that school in the first place. For instance, at UH we pulled in kids with ACT scores of 30-36, when the average was 26ish. And the long-term play is that those smart kids who were just happy to be a part of the team are more likely to be successful and donate back years later. Again, this isn't for all sports. But I always hated how we'd have like 45 kids on the track/XC team with only 12.6 scholarships, so that means for an athletic scholarships versus tuition/housing/meals standpoint we were always bringing in more total money for the school than losing. Yet...because of university math, no one saw it that way.

@GHowells12 @MLFootball Except bountygate didn't actually give the Saints any kind of unfair advantage. They even injured fewer players per year than the league average lol Shut the fuck up if you don't know what you're talking about 👍

B3: Unreal. Another error loads the bases with two outs, and then Zac Cowan gives up a grand slam that gives Tennessee a 5-0 lead. #LSU Seth Dardar dropped Steven Milam's throw to second. Not a perfect throw, but that was pretty routine stuff. What a disaster.

Many in education have been convinced that an “equal interval grading scale” is more fair. Under this system, a 60% = a B instead of a D. Would those who support this trend trust a doctor or pilot who scored a 60% on their final exams?
