India’s birth rate has fallen below replacement. Among those most educated, India’s birth rate fell below replacement many years ago.

i read something that completely changed how i think about myself. turns out we’re not actually lazy or broken. our brains are just stuck in the wrong time period. letme make it easy like, we evolved when things were simple. hunt an animal, eat it right away. see danger, run immediately. stay with your group or die alone. boom. immediate results. but now? we study for years. work a job for weeks before getting paid. scroll on phones all day. compare ourselves to hundreds of people. and everything is designed to make us feel like we need more, more, more. our brains get stressed because this doesn’t feel natural to them. it shouldn’t. it’s not how we were built. that’s why long goals feel impossible, scrolling feels easier than actual work, we overthink everything, someone ignoring us online actually hurts, we feel anxious even when nothing’s wrong and the craziest part? our ancestors were paranoid as hell. the relaxed ones got eaten by predators. so we inherited “see danger everywhere” brains. which worked great 100,000 years ago. not great now. so we’re not weak. our brain isn’t broken. it’s just doing what it was designed to do in a world that changed without asking it first. that made me stop hating myself and start asking okay, how do i live with this brain instead of fighting it?

Young people gathering in protest is totally insignificant. I know because a bunch of older people are gathering on panels to talk about them. For hours on every channel and podcast. They’re all talking about how insignificant this all is, while farming them for eyeballs :-|
