El Consejo de Ministros aprobará hoy el Real Decreto que da inicio al proceso de regularización extraordinaria de personas en situación irregular en nuestro país. Un acto de normalización, de reconocer la realidad de casi medio millón de personas que ya forman parte de nuestra vida cotidiana. Y, también, un acto de justicia y una necesidad. Reconocemos derechos, pero también exigimos obligaciones. Que quienes ya forman parte de nuestro día a día lo hagan en igualdad de condiciones, contribuyendo al sostenimiento de nuestro país y de nuestro modelo de convivencia. Hoy, de nuevo, siento orgullo de ser español.

The first time I visited #Pakistan, I was amazed how beautiful and clean it was in most localities, how effortlessly the old blended with the new, how green Islamabad was, how the northern areas are easily the most stunning parts of the world, how nobody ever pesters you to buy something or engage their services, how the hospitality of all people is truly unmatched and sincere, and how foreign women are completely safe from harassment or worse while traveling and moving about. And importantly for me, how AJK is truly azaad. Ever since, Pakistan has become the holy land in my imagination. I can only hope the delegates will see it through my lens.

Pakistan has done for the world what no other powerful nuclear country could do. Pakistan not only saved 90 million lives but also protected an entire civilization and stopped World War III. Thank you Pakistan 🇵🇰

As we proceed to *Islamabad Talks*, I wish to extend our deepest and sincere gratitude to our brotherly countries People’s Republic of China, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Türkiye, Arab Republic of Egypt and State of Qatar for extending invaluable and all out support towards reaching the ceasefire and giving peaceful diplomatic efforts a chance to seek a comprehensive and conclusive end to the conflict. I would also like to deeply appreciate and thank our brotherly countries of Gulf Cooperation Council, whose consistent support and commitment to peace and stability in the region remains quintessential for our efforts. The leadership of all our brotherly countries and United States of America demonstrated exceptional strategic foresight, sagacity and patience in giving peace a chance. Pakistan the one who was the facilitator to make peace between the US & China during the Cold War era. Pakistan the one who is facilitating to make peace between the US & Iran during the post-Cold War era. Spiteful Jaishankar may call them anything, but no one has this record.

Los alto al fuego siempre son una buena noticia. Sobre todo si conducen a una paz justa y duradera. Pero el alivio momentáneo no puede hacernos olvidar el caos, la destrucción y las vidas perdidas. If Trump listens to Sharif and give a pause to his ‘war crime’ threats in Iran, will be a major achievement for the ‘mediator’ Pakistan. If Trump does not listen, it will also make Pakistan only country, which tried to do something to stop madness, while others kept quiet.

Just had a short call with POTUS: He declined to say how he is feeling about negotiations: “I can't tell you, because right now we're in heated negotiations.” He declined to weigh in on Pakistan’s 2 week deadline extension request – saying he’s about to be briefed fully on it - but said: “I can say this - that I know him very well. He's a highly respected man, all over” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says, "The President has been made been aware of the proposal, and a response will come."
