@REFLOG18 That looked like Patrick Ewing with 5 fouls. 'I could take out a gun and shoot you. They still ain't calling a foul.'
English

@trillydonovan I dont think it took that much money to get a 12/2/2 guy.
English

Someone with more money than brains is willing to step in so some of these people can continue making rotary phones - and they're complaining. Unbelievably obtuse.

We are very, very glad that @pittsburghPG is surviving! We’re eager to turn over a new leaf with new owners who value journalism, and respect Pittsburgh. We’re also concerned by the @VenetoulisInst's stated intent to cut jobs.

@miami_rick A CV-5800. Now there's a plane that a pilot has to fly. Understanding the physics of flight is a must. They should require all new regional jet pilots to spend some time flying an aircraft like this.

@NightBlooming90 @moo_pointmaker Please. The only reason the story is known is because she talked about it to a group of prisoners, thinking that it would help her connect with them for her documentary. If she can use it for political and monetary gain then it can be joked about.
English

@moo_pointmaker what an ugly and inhumane thing to say.
English

@peterrhague @JeremyClarkson I'm going to drop down to Peter's level and make a similar statement. A grape weighs less than a watermelon.
English

@JeremyClarkson Base model Tesla Model 3 weighs 1,760 kg
Lightest Land Rover Defender weighs 2,228 kg
You're just factually wrong on this one.

@AFC_dinho @JoeCJr29 Spot on. Other cities, in fact most cities, have had bombings, but poor Oklahoma City suffered far and away the worst. A very oblivious choice from Joe.
English

@JoeCJr29 Top 1 cities in the US that couldn’t have a sports team called the bombers:
- Oklahoma City

@BIGPLAYCLEshow @REFLOG18 256!
Then, we don't have a selection show announcing who made it and how they're seeded. Instead, the NCAA has a 1 hour show where a panel of hosts rip apart the 100 or so pathetic programs that didn't get selected.
English

Should the NCAA tourney expand to 76 teams?
"At some point, you get a law of diminishing returns."

@spitfyrexiv @CBSEveningNews There are 25 city-county councilors and 7 are black. Black people make up 27% of the Marion County population and 27% of 25 is 6.75, so it works out perfectly.
English

@CBSEveningNews Guns and or violence in politics should always be condemned.
But is that the Indianapolis city council with only white people, in Indianapolis?

English

@CBSEveningNews I guess he should've used the money he got from the data center company to hire some security.
English

@REFLOG18 Oh, the Pacers. One year you're cutting through the East like a knife through butter and a game away from an NBA title. The next year you're doing everything in your power to tank and get a top draft pick. Quite frankly, the poster child for the NBA.
English

@IndyCar @AlexPalou Chip Ganassi is a genius. How to cheat but still avoid suspicion: 1) Only give the "special" car to one driver not the entire team. 2) Don't use the "special" car every race. Master class in getting away with it.
English

@IndyCar Forget about firing him after the fact, in a first class team like Ganassi that guy never gets hired. In a back-marker team like McLaren its perfectly acceptable.
English

@IndyCar @AlexPalou @lundgaardoff @GrahamRahal @malukasdavid @KKirkwoodRacing Let's have a caution to clean up all of that off-line rubber. It's getting ridiculous. IndyCar at Alabama.

The lead is 4.8 seconds on Lap 60.

@StockUnit I also, like nearly everyone, rarely use the mail (Could be why they're in trouble, huh). I only mail 2 monthly checks and it's solely because the companies charge $4 - $5 in fees if I pay any other way.
English

@sddevane Tbh I snail mail so seldom that I wouldn't object to $20. It would also get some of my more archaic clients to use ACH instead of mailing checks!
English

Yes, the USPS is an inefficient operation (what government entity isn't) but I'd still prefer to pay 78 cents instead of $20 to send a document when necessary.
Tracy Shuchart (𝒞𝒽𝒾 )@chigrl
We need to get rid of USPS as a carrier ASAP. USPS has been operating on a net loss since 2007, despite the lifeline thrown to them via Amazon. USPS is inefficient, and a capital drag on the American tax payer.
