As repeatedly noted, the end of Armenian troops and a separatist political authority in Azerbaijan's Karabakh region removed the last obstacle to the peace treaty sought by both Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Aliyev. bit.ly/3NjNpX4

The @CIJ_ICJ order today confirmed the commitments made by #Azerbaijan - and denied 7 out of 10 measures requested by Armenia. In light of our undertakings: - Armenia’s request that Azerbaijan refrain from taking any measures which might entail breaches of its obligations under the CERD – denied by the Court. - Armenia’s request that Azerbaijan facilitate, and refrain from placing any impediment on, the access of the UN to Armenians in Garabagh – denied by the Court. - Armenia’s request that Azerbaijan facilitate, and refrain from placing any impediment on, the ability of the ICRC to provide humanitarian aid to Armenians in Garabagh – denied by the Court. - Armenia’s request that Azerbaijan facilitate the full restoration of public utilities, including gas and electricity, to Garabagh – denied by the Court. - Armenia’s request that Azerbaijan not alter or destroy certain monuments or cultural artefact or sites present in Garabagh – denied by the Court. In addition to this, the Court respected Azerbaijan’s sovereign rights in its Garabagh region and denied Armenia’s request that we withdraw all military and law-enforcement personnel from our internationally recognised territory, or refrain from holding to account, under applicable law, certain individuals associated with the illegal regime installed by Armenia in the formerly occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Armenian residents of our Garabagh region are citizens of Azerbaijan and their human rights are protected and upheld on an equal basis. Azerbaijan remains focused on working towards a peaceful and prosperous future for all of its citizens.

🔴The situation in the hospitals of #Stepanakert is absolutely catastrophic! Shortages of medical staff, panic, people trying to find their loved ones from the blast. Very high number of injured individuals. 🔴We need urgent helicopter airlifting ASAP, otherwise many will die!
