The Turkish economy must really be in bad shape! Erdogan is desperate to restore relations with Europe. Today USD was trading 45.21 Turkish Lira.

Former director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Edita Gzoyan has left the institution, reports Hraparak, after declining a deputy role following her dismissal over gifting a book on Artsakh to the US VP JD Vance.

@harryistepanian @KonulikShahin Or to put it another way…Armenia was worried Turkey might intervene to prevent Armenian occupation of Azerbaijan, so having Russian troops there prevented that and allowed Armenian forces to redeploy to NK.

@operativmedia You don’t need to be a brain surgeon to understand that these sham trials are politically motivated.

🇦🇿🇦🇲The individuals whom the European Parliament, the President of France, certain non-governmental organizations, and a number of foreign media outlets have sought to characterize as ‘prisoners of war’ are, in fact, persons who have been duly prosecuted in connection with clearly defined criminal offenses. ● These individuals stand accused of, inter alia, war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, terrorism, the financing of terrorism, the establishment and maintenance of illegal armed formations, the unlawful seizure of power, violations of international humanitarian law in the context of armed conflict, as well as other grave offenses under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. ● Notably, war crimes and crimes against humanity fall within the scope of universal jurisdiction. Accordingly, all members of the international community, including France, are under an obligation to ensure that individuals alleged to have committed such crimes are brought before competent judicial authorities and held accountable in accordance with due process of law. ● In this context, any attempt to politicize or instrumentalize the cases of certain individuals against whom final judgments have been rendered by the Baku Military Court constitutes an unwarranted interference in judicial matters and risks undermining the ongoing normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. -Dr. Rizvan Nabiyev, Member of Parliament / Operativ Media.

She meant “Gas-for-Beretta.” This is how democracy works when it comes to the authoritarian regime in the South Caucasus.

As long as Iraq keeps the same muhasasa (sectarian power-sharing) system in place, the new government will not be much different from previous ones.

Hovik Avanesov, Artsakh’s cultural heritage ombudsman, has warned that a monument marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in occupied Stepanakert has been completely destroyed. According to Caucasus Heritage Watch, the demolition is part of a broader pattern of systematic eradication of Armenian cultural heritage. The site featured a white marble bell tower and a reliquary containing remains from Deir ez-Zor, a location central to the memory of the genocide. Satellite imagery from Airbus and Planet Labs shows the complex was destroyed between July 2025 and April 2026, pointing to a deliberate, coordinated operation rather than incidental damage. Experts say the destruction violates international cultural protection norms and reflects an ongoing effort to erase Armenian historical presence in Artsakh. Calls for a concrete international response are growing.
