@humphreys_17 @ryanadsett Is that true? I’d be surprised if we got rid just because of that, more likely to help him surely? I heard he rubbed other players in the squad up the wrong way, could be both I guess. I do think there’s a really good player there.

Didn't even need to wait a few years. Top talented player, now off to Chelsea. What a joke.

@OfficialBHAFC Come back to this in a few years, strange decision imo

@RDoyster @T40Tommy @seagull1974 @BrettMendoza_ Hold on, even PB stated he pushed them to a different level. I think the board got taken a bit too out of their comfort zone with him and went back to type as they were nervous, which he couldn’t accept. It was a mismatch for sure which only ends one way, understandably.

@T40Tommy @seagull1974 @BrettMendoza_ That’s really not true Tommy. He is also known for throwing his toys and he’s not an easy character to work with. But I will still sing his name and miss the guy. But blaming the board is less than half the story.

First time seeing him since he left. Chanting his name. No Hurzeler chant. The away end is gonna look like they love the opposition manager more than their own on 18th April 🤣 (which may well be the case😬)

@ryanadsett He’s a hugely enigmatic personality, the players spoke about how high they regarded him. That personality might be enough to get the results needed. I’d rather see them go down but his personality may keep them up. After that, let’s see, it might not be a great fit.

Roberto De Zerbi back in the PL is pretty crazy. As a manager, he’s the best Brighton have ever had. He is tactically incredible and his player by player progression was insane. Players over performed. He changed the lives of Jason Steele, Solly March, Kaoru Mitoma etc. As a club, we’ve missed him since his departure. It took a while for his ethos to click, which could be a short term issue for Spurs. Ultimately, if they give him backing, it’ll work out. He’s a world class head coach. The biggest elephant in the room is the Greenwood comments, which were grim and absolutely shocking. That side of things leave a huge stain.

@Oween99 @ryanadsett Please don’t use the word IF in post analysis of sport. They did, therefore we didn’t, the only way to counter that is to be better, we weren’t. IF never happened so what’s the point in it!? The only certainty is he’s the only manager to get us to Europe, no IFs.

@ryanadsett I don’t think we’ve missed him. He gave us the best season we’ve ever had. FH would have got Europe his first season if palace didn’t win the FA cup. He was for sure a big character that changed a lot. But there was also a lot of bad with the good. 0 stability.

@SayersBHAFC Sorry mate I just can’t agree with you on this. He wasn’t playing for Steve Holland, he was playing for England, for the shirt, for us. IMO it’s disgraceful to he’s had the brass neck to show up. Don’t want him near the WC squad and don’t want to see him on the shirt.

@AndyNaylorBHAFC It clearly had a huge influence. He’s stopped overthinking things, playing what he sees is his best team and hardly changed it. Who knew!?

Six weeks ago, sections of Brighton supporters at the Amex demanded the sacking of Fabian Hurzeler. #BHAFC They will end match round 31 in 10th or 11th, three points behind Brentford in seventh, six points behind Liverpool in fifth.

@ChrisofBelper @MwepuMagic Things can be said in the heat of the moment, and thats ok, football does that, it’s emotional. The fact is people can be unhappy but still support it the team, still get behind the team, they want them to win. Why people like you can’t comprehend this is baffling.

I’ve renewed my season ticket because I’m a lifelong Brighton fan and love to watch my team play. It has nothing to do with Hürzeler and it’s a little bit grim to suggest it does. So out of touch. #BHAFC

The silent majority seemingly still have faith in project Hurzeler and the future. A 90% season ticket renewal rate at the Amex on closure deadline for next season, when the club celebrates 125 years in existence. #BHAFC

@Jackalbion96 I bit because he’s serious. He’s got the raging hump with the fans, it’s so bizarre. Sometimes you get too close, I get why journos need to be close but he’s too close. He may as well get a salary from the club.

@AndyNaylorBHAFC Andrew old chap, I think this tells you something completely different. And it’s something to be celebrated. Amongst a cost of living crisis, people love their club and will support The Albion no matter who is charge. That’s the story here!

@MikeyCycling @TimmyR6ig The dangerous driver got away with it because you can’t submit the video for fear you’d get done too because you know what you did. We can see it, no point in lying your way out of it. It’s tiresome now, you’re a hypocrite.

Let me FTFY: The Fiat driver drove in on the wrong side of a keep left and through a No Entry sign because he was impatient and angry. When blocked, he chose to wait and do it again, this time with the intention of smashing me out of the way with no concern for anyone but his selfish impatience and unwillingness to take a 20 second clearly signposted detour. He hit the left side of my bike, went around the corner on two wheels in his haste to leave the scene of a collision that he caused. The driver and passenger were never in any danger from me, they were only in danger from the driver's bad driving. There was no throwing of the bike - it's 35kg. You, meanwhile, ignore the driver's incredibly dangerous behaviour, whilst I did nothing wrong.

Why do you think it's OK to be doing paperwork whilst driving, albeit stationary? Why do you think it's OK to be watching and playing a video on your dash-mounted phone? Dash-mounted phones playing video will get you a non-endorsable fine.

@TheRedSeagull92 You’re right but is it about going to both, or even watching both? I think the implication is that a charity match on the same day demeans the Women’s FA Cup Final. If so they have a point. I don’t think it’s right if you’re growing the Women’s game. I could have ready it wrong?

@mrmilesp92 But I don’t believe he has played well there. That’s my point. My opinion of course. The team is back to winning, it’s amazing. My overall point was that improvements could and should still be made even when winning.

@BrightonBuzzz This is the trouble with having such talent in depth at times. Rushworrh would be good this year for us but Verbruggen cost us €16m. So you have to back the outlay rather than the emerging talent you paid a lot less for.

🚨Carl Rushworth is a target for Manchester United. The 24-year-old's contract is set to expire in 2027. Rushworth will decide his future based on whether he can get first team football at Brighton next year. If Bart Verbruggen leaves it is likely Rushworth would stay. [via @TEAMtalk] #BHAFC

Results go for us and yet again we prove how fucking shite we are! Brighton weren’t all that we just have too many players hiding and not giving a fuck week in week out. If any thinks we stay up you need to have a word with yourselves! This ain’t a meltdown it’s facts #nffc
