Parker Meadows was diagnosed with a concussion, had 5 stitches in his cheek, and broke a bone in his left arm. Really tough news for Parker. He’s traveling back to Detroit and will be further evaluated. Wenceel Perez gets the call up. #DNMW

My glimmer moment today was seeing these 2 lovely’s enjoying the view in the sunshine.

My grandmother once told me, “Not speaking badly about anyone is the best way to speak well of yourself.” Thats really been sticking with me lately.

A patient of mine for about a decade was referred to hospice last week. Today, they showed up one last time to clinic. “Instead of hospice, I’m off to Karpathos. I want to feel the water one more time, breathe the air, and be with family. Thank you for being my doctor.” Modern science can only do so much. But compassion continues. And we will continue to care and be there for him and his family. Up until their last moments, it will be an honor to invest in them.

FYI to anyone who may find themselves in an ICU, it's not the best place to joke about the "four year virus" or anything else that makes light of what covid did. The nurse or doctor or RT rhat you are trying to joke with was probably there and I promise you, they remember.
