Doom was the game of my childhood! But the thing that always stood out for me about the Doom series was its ability to get every bit out of hardware. I had an older 486, and it ran Doom games as well as the latest Pentiums.

@boristane Daily? Probably not every day, necessarily. But frequently as part of their normal practice? Yes. It's hard, maybe impossible, to stay connected to the critical details without being in implementation mode some of the time.

@MarcJBrooker Since KiCAD uses plain text files, git paired with something like kiri github.com/leoheck/kiri works pretty well for version control.

All tools. CAD. Image editors. Diagram editors. Word processors. Spreadsheets. Presentations. Reliable version control is the number one thing I miss when doing the non-code parts of my job.

Doing a Google Maps search for "restaurants." Clicked on the "top rated" button, which immediately brought me to an ad for TGIFridays. Hope that's bringing in the bucks for you, Google.

@stew_us @marcbowes @getawair Did you unplug it for a day? I’ve left mine plugged in hoping the fix might be coming.

All three of my Awair Element units just stopped working. I emailed support, and spent an hour trying things from their support web site but honestly it's too much work to keep troubleshooting right now. Maybe it'll fix itself or I'll devote more time to troubleshooting it later.

@marcbowes @JoeSondow @getawair Ah so thats what happened! Mine is just showing an always on white status light. Factory reset etc allowed me to get through the wifi setup but thats it. Bad firmware deployment?

When I go back and make a 0.1mm adjustment very early in my Fusion 360 timeline then return to the current state
